This cleanser is great except I feel like I’m washing my face with perfume. I wish they made this unscented.

I want to start by saying I have incredibly difficult skin that even at 34 have still never been able to figure out. I still have prominent acne and I feel like I’ve tried everything in the book with no luck. I was once told my skin is dry by an esthetician, even though I’ve always felt it was oily, so I’ve tried a couple times to try more moisturizing products. I liked that this product had a different type of moisturizing ingredient that I hadn’t tried before so I thought I’d give it a shot.I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the bottle. By the pictures I thought it was going to be smaller.It has a more perfume-y scent but thankfully it wasn’t a scent that triggered my normally very sensitive nose into a headache.I like that it’s foaming. I always feel like foaming products last so much longer/go much further.While rinsing it off my face, it felt almost slimy like I couldn’t fully rinse it off. My OCD likes for my skin to feel squeaky clean after washing which is why I suspect the esthetician thought I had dry skin. I assume the slimey feel though is the moisturizers and probably actually good for my skin.After using it a couple times (I wash my face twice a day) I did start to notice that slightly tight feeling in my face immediately after that makes me feel like it’s truly clean.Unfortunately after about a week of use I had to discontinue as my face started feeling very oily and started breaking out even in places I don’t usually break out such as my cheekbone.I think this product could be great for most people, it’s got some great things going for it but it’s just not right for me. I never hold it against the product though because like I said I’ve tried almost everything under the sun with very little success.

Though I have combination skin, there are days when all I want to do is get in and cleanse away all of that excess sebum that my skin sometimes produces. This facial cleanser is quite good for doing so. Although, not something that I appreciate as much on my drier days.This is quite good at getting deep within the pores and cleansing out what's in there. It's a thin liquid that pumps out into your hand as a foam. You won't need all that much, so don't go pumping out more than maybe two pumps your first time around with the idea that you can always go back for more if need be.It's lightweight on the skin, yet thick and creamy enough to clean your skin thoroughly. There's a light lemon soap smell to this, so those who don't like scented cleansers might not be too thrilled with this. But those of us who prefer our skincare products nicely scented, this should be fine. It's gentle on the skin and should be safe for most.This cleans well and is easy to rinse away when done. Leaves the skin feeling soft and clean, though it does not moisturize. From my experience, it does not dry out my skin, but because it's not moisturizing, my mature combination skin will feel dry if I don't follow up with my regular moisturization routine. That's fine though because this is a facial cleanser that is ideal for those on the oilier side of the ph spectrum. Should also be quite good for those with problematic skin.

MAYCOOP Low pH Face Wash Cleansing FoamThis cleanser is perfect for those with dry skin. It gently removed all of my makeup, including mascara. It struggles a bit with waterproof mascara. I found that it works well at breaking down sunscreen I love the scent and I only used a small amount- about 2 pumps. I love that the dispenser creates a creamy foam (mousse) which makes it very easy to apply. This didn't dry out my skin at all but it did a great job at cleansing.This comes safety sealed in a box and the dispenser has a pump in clear plastic with a matching white cap. It contains 150ml and expires in 4.24. I did really like this cleanser. I appreciate how it goes on light, and it has a soft pleasant scent I can't quite put my finger on. It works well at removing the oils from my face, but it is definitely not a clean and quit type of cleanser. When I did not follow up with a serum or lotion, my face felt stretched and dry. It did not cause my skin to flake or appear dry, it just felt that way afterward once the water from cleansing dried so I immediately followed with lotion.I am in my late 40s and have sensitive fair skin. It did not cause redness nor did it cause any breakouts. I think this would be great for someone with oily skin, or someone who has a complete regimen during cleansing that includes following up with some type of moisturizer.I have no complaints here.
