My baby switched to these at 5 months old with no issues. I can’t tell much of a difference other than size. Handy to have 4 to rotate clean ones and to have one on each floor of the house. I sterilized them to clean initially, but now I just clean with unscented soap and rinse with hot water, making sure to squeeze/shake out any water in the nipple before drying or giving to my baby. If your baby used 0-6 month version of these I’d recommended these when you need to size up. How to clean inside the nipple: hold the binkie sideways (nipple parallel with the floor) under running water. The water should be flowing over the binkie “handle” opening (where it attaches to the binkie on one of the sides. So the widest part of the nipple should be perpendicular with the floor) Squeeze the nipple and slowly release to fill the nipple with water, then remove the binkie from under the water and squeeze the nipple again to remove water.
