It did really well! I would think it works for a gouge in wood flooring as well. You will need to add a small amount first, let it dry, then add another smaller amount, and keeping going till you get the desired area completely filled. Do not add too much at one time. It's important for the product to dry each time you add an amount to fill the gouge. You will need to so sand it with a higher number sand paper.
