I agree with some other reviews who said some kind of organization (categories of people, alphabetical order) would be helpful in locating the type of person you want to draw, but over all it's a great book. Great for Kids
I bought this for my 7 year old niece along with some drawing paper and drawing pencils (to make it a little more "cool"). She loves it and can make some pretty good drawings using the instructions. I wanted something that would allow her to produce slightly more detailed drawings without being to complicated. These were at the perfect level. She is homeschooled, and her mom said she's used to it illustrate her writing and they've used it for art too. I agree with some other reviews who said some kind of organization (categories of people, alphabetical order) would be helpful in locating the type of person you want to draw, but over all it's a great book.

Easy to use and good variety. Our family loves these
Got these to enjoy for both myself and also to use with grandkids. (7-12) We are all having a great time. The step by step makes drawing the characters easy and they turn out surprisingly well & also provides the springboard for creativity. Sometimes we all draw the same one together and see the unique variety of the creations but shocked at what they can do! I purchased also the monsters book and they love it.

Got a doodler in your house?
After seeing many papers come home from school with doodles all over them we decided to embrace our creative child. We purchased this book along with graphite pencils and quality drawing papers. I mean if the kid is going to draw give them the tools. Since then we have noticed a noticible difference in kinds of drawings that come home. We even got completely different feedback from the art teacher this year. Great teaching tool.

Hours of Fun
I got this for my boyfriend, who recently had a LOT of time on his hands with nothing to do. He requested drawing books, and I got him this one. He really enjoyed learning to draw cartoon people. It was a good way to fill a lot of his time and keep him positive during a tough transition period. I would recommend it for children and adults who are interested in cartooning. It's a good way to get started!

Great book for young artists!
My 6 year old received this book for Easter and has thoroughly enjoyed it! He received the 101 Animals book from this series at Christmas and has spent hours drawing and perfecting the various characters and he was thrilled to get this new one. The step-by-step instructions are easy to follow and once mastered, give plenty of room for creativity in making the creations your own. Great for beginning artists!

Super Fun For Everyone!
This is a fun guide to have around the house, especially if you have kids. It's great for all ages, it has illustrations that range from pretty easy, to a little more advanced. Everyone will be able to find something they want to draw. It's a step by step guide on how to start the drawing, and follows the steps through until the finished drawing. Great fun for everyone!

Fantastic fun! 8 year old loves it!
My 8 year old son absolutely loves these books. Great starter book for kids that live to draw. He has been drawing like a mad man since he got these books. We also got the 101 Animals and 101 Monsters. Great price and will be purchasing more to add to his collection.

Very Good!
Our 5 year old grandson loves this book so much that we bought others (animals, people etc.) as well. They’re challenging which is good, and he enjoys working at them.
