Short on cabinet space with lots of pans, I ordered this to try & organize space better. This freed up a lot of clutter in cabinet. Is very sturdy considering I have large & small cast iron (fry) pans stacked along with other metal pans. It has not tipped over with lot of weight on it. Pans are stacked with heaviest on lower levels, but I have an aluminum chicken fryer pan on bottom & stand doesn't budge when I move pans. If I had space on counters I would get another just to stack my cast iron fry pans. Seem to be accumulating quite the collection. I'm still thinking about ordering another regardless for other pans in cabinet, just don't like idea of storing lids in separate spot. Would be great if they have one with larger spacing between levels for larger pans/pans w lids. Highly recommend, money well spent.

This compact solution for iron skillet storage is just the solution for cramped counter space. Mine fits in that corner under the overhead cabinets that is usually wasted space. The unit is quite sturdy. With probably 20 lbs of iron or more sitting on it it is steady with no wobble when placing another skillet in the rack! It is inconspicuous but yet attractive in a basic black kinda' way and matches my back/stainless appliances well. It has saved wear and tear on counter tops. I can put pans (accidently the first time) that are still quite warm on it and it stands up to the heat while the pan cools(ed) down. I don't generally give 5 star ratings but I just can't find anything (in spite of trying!) about this product that I can offer improvement suggestions about...a rare thing for a picky consumer who likes picking a product apart! I've had it for several months now and not only can't imagine NOT having it but would/will definitely buy it again if my pan collection get bigger (all the slots on this one are full) and would to be pleased to gift it to friends and family!

The skillet rack is very sturdy. It's lying on it's back, with the skillets standing on their sides in my pantry. The skillets are easy to remove from the rack.

This rack has made our lives much easier. It holds the pots. The pots remain in place. It has even held up to our heaviest of cast iron pans. There is a single downside, however, which warrants the 4 star review instead of 5. We originally tried using this rack to stack the pots on top of each other however the metal the rack is made out of is not strong enough withstand the weight of the pots. The rack began to bend and the pans would easily slide off if disturbed. Once we turned the rack on its side, It has been an invaluable kitchen storage solution.

These worked great to stack my large collection of glass pans, from the smallest pyrex casserole to the largest pyrex size. I now can get to each piece without having to unstack each piece to get to the one I always needed that was on the bottom of the stack. I have two upright in my pantry and the other is sideways in the pantry for the heavier, longer pans, just because they fit into the pantry better that way in terms of being able to close the door. Either way, they hold the weight of the pan. I wish I could find a place in my kitchen where I could use it to stack my cast iron pans. That is what I originally got them for, but the rack was just a 1/2 too high to fit into my cupboard where the cast iron has to go, due to their size and weight. These things will outlast me, I am sure. They are very sturdy and well made and you can use the two screws that come with it to secure the rack to a wall or the bottom of a cupboard if you are so inclined to need to secure it that way.

I am a bit of a hoarder when it comes to cast iron pans. I have 10-15 pans of various sizes in my cabinet. Prior to getting this organizer, I had a piece of cardboard laid in the bottom of each pan, then just had the pans stacked on top of each other. The problem with this setup was that my "stack" of pans weighed 30+ pounds! Inevitably my wife would need the pan from the bottom of the stack and would have trouble getting it out. As much as I love cast iron, this extra effort was a real turn-off for her to use the pans. This Heavy Duty Pan organizer did the trick! I am now able to separate up to 5 pans (obviously I needed multiple organizers to hold all of my pans) and stack them neatly in the cabinet. Makes is easy for my wife to get to any of the pans and there is no need to stack them any more! This is truly heavy duty and can hold 5 very heavy pans with no problems. I highly recommend for anyone that has cast iron pans and needs a way to stack them separately.

Very nice strong enough to hold 5 cast irons. Came assembled. Looks great. Isn’t heavy.

I wanted to love this because I am obsessed with organization products and I thought this would solve the problem of my pans being stacked on each other and getting scratched. (They came with little felt circles to place between the pans, but that is just not practical for daily use.) While this is heavy duty, and my regular sized pans fit, they don't stay put very well. One little bump and two or three of the pans will fall off. I think if the little shelves were a bit longer, they would stay in place better. My cast iron pans don't fit. I'm still using it, but I'm not sure how much longer I will. It gets on my nerves having to restack them. Given all of that, I don't really feel like it was a good value for me. I paid over $30 and will probably sell it for a couple of dollars in a yard sale.

Bought this for my pantry shelves, to stack my cast iron pans using the rack vertically (as in the advertisement photos) Very impressed with how sturdy it is. I have a large (13 inch) iron skillet, two 10 inch iron skillets, as well as an iron pannini press (lid) and several smaller stainless steel pans stacked in it with no problem. It handles the weight with no sagging at all.

Very practical and can hold 4 heavy cast iron frying pans!
