Good
After Lola James breaks her leg she finds that her boyfriend is too busy to look after her and the people she counted as friends are not as close as she thought so Lola returns to her parents B&B and has to sleep in the longe as she cannot get up the stairs. Lola works as a matchmaker so to keep her busy her mother offers her services to keep her busy with unexpected results. There were no real surprises in this book but nevertheless I enjoyed it and if you want a nice easy read this could be a book for you.

Little bit of fun
An easy read with likeable characters. I always enjoy Portia Macintosh, she makes me giggle and relate to the people in them. Don’t take it all too seriously it’s a little bit of fun.I really enjoy the narration, a few different readers have been used but they have all been skilled and enjoyable to listen to, worth tagging a audio on with the book purchase.

So lovely
I really enjoyed this book about Lola James, when she broke her leg at her friends wedding she realised that she didn't have any true friends and her boyfriend didn't really care for her at all. In fact no-one she thought she could rely on didn't care about her. She went home to her parents and made new friends and found a caring man.

Lots to enjoy
This was a packed story that could have gone in any number of directions. Portia cleverly keeps some information back, so you're never quite sure whether things are exactly as they seem. The conclusion is very satisfying, although even that has a few bumps in the road. A thoroughly enjoyable read.
