Cheap pencils but I like them and use them as much or more than my expensive art pencils for drawing. Very good value and very reasonably priced. Very smooth and easy to use.

I wanted some graphite pencils in the soft (B) range and took a chance on this set because of the price. (I have been buying Faber-Castells on sale but they're still pricey.) I have been pleasantly surprised by these pencils. They are nice quality, sturdy, and draw nice and smooth. I'm using them for an online illustration course I'm taking. I would definitely recommend them. I even plan to give them as a gift for an artist friend for the holidays.

I would like to say that I ordered the sketch box which is from 4H to 6B and what I got was the artist box which graduates from H to 9B. The pencils are extremely nice, it just surprises me because it isn't what I ordered. The pencils are so nice that I would probably reorder the SKETCH box with the 4H, 3H, 2h, except I'm afraid I would just get another Artist box. Oh well, they are nice pencils and I will enjoy them for years.

Excellent! I draw cartoon characters as well as sketching tutorials and I found that I like using these pencils better than others. I make a scale of the # and letters of the pencils and under that I draw a line and I keep that at the side so I can look at it a grab which one I need at the time.

I recently signed up for an art class and this set is everything I need. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. The case it's in is also so sleek and light that it packs easily.
