So far, so good! The pillow protector has a terry cloth like fabric on the outside, which is the side coming in contact with your decorative cover. On the inside of the protector cover is the coated side to help keep from being poked with the darn feathers. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to put on and even more happy that the terry cloth side would kind of act like a magnet with decorative cover and not slip and slide all over the place inside. It’s also not noisy.

I bought these covers for my couch cushions because I was tired of feathers constantly poking through the fabric and the cushions losing their shape and volume over time. Even though the covers were slightly smaller than my existing down-filled pillows, I was able to squeeze them in without much trouble. The snug fit actually ended up being a benefit—it made it easier to fit everything back into my couch covers and provided much better support. Since installing them, my cushions no longer sag and look much fuller. Best of all, feathers are no longer poking through and making a mess. The couch feels more comfortable and looks refreshed. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase and honestly wish I had done it sooner.

Bizarre terrycloth exterior is odd texture for a pillow case but it does hold your sheet-pillow case in place. Def keeps the feathers at bay. I bought a couple of feather pillows on here and it's Feather City Explosion in my bedroom. Looks like a goose down factory exploded. These protectors do a standup job of containing all that mess. They're a little stiff and take some getting used to but not too crunchy as far as the fabric goes. I will buy more of these because they work well.

I recently purchased this pillowcase, and while it has some good qualities, it’s not quite what I expected. The fabric is soft but has a slight roughness to it—not exactly hospital-grade, but close. I’m using it with a regular pillow, so it just feels like a super plain cover to me. However, I can see how someone using a feather pillow might appreciate it since it helps prevent feathers from poking through. It does the job on my couch, but I think a patterned or darker-colored option might have suited my space better. The size is great, and it fits my abnormal pillow perfectly. It washes just fine. It seems to have some sort of mild plastic liner on the inside that may keep it waterproof, but at the same time this may cause it to not be as breathable as prefered.

These are a solid 5-stars for me! I got these to go over some brand new pillows I got a little while back. They're fantastic for keeping the quills from feather-stuff pillows from poking you in the face while you sleep. In all honesty, they will at some point eventually allow a feather through. But for me that didn't happen for a very long time. The covers are breathable and lightweight, so they don't trap heat or sweat like a sponge. The zippers are substantial and keep everything neat and tidy inside of the cover slip.

Like them. Easy to put on and keeps feathers at bay. They also came in a timely manner.

I bought these for my small lumbar pillow because the feathers kept poking through the pillow covers. These were the only ones I could find in the size I needed. If you can find another option that fits your pillows, I would probably go with that instead. These covers definitely help prevent feathers from poking through, although they may not work quite as well if I didn’t also have another pillow cover over them. Keep in mind that these covers are only meant for protection. You’ll still need a decorative or regular pillow cover over them. The biggest downside is that the plastic lining makes the pillows feel a bit like a diaper. So while they do get the job done, they definitely change the feel of the pillow.
