A little pricey, but perfect for my needs. I do self-care plus I work full time so I can’t spend a lot of time at the barn before work! The hay lasts over 24 hours, eliminates waste and boredom and slows my “greedy eater” down!

I use the freedom feeder as a "lunch hay" feeder. My horse gets two flakes in the morning and two in the evening, but I don't think that the feeding schedule is always punctual, and although I had a special lunch hay bail that she was to get at noon, I don't think she ever got it at noon. This way she always has hay available which is what I wanted. The rope container seems sturdy and I like that fact that there is no wastage as there usually is when feeding by the flake. Also makes room for me since I no longer have a spare bail taking up space. I am very happy with this product.

We bought the Freedom Feeder bag last December and it's lasted all winter and spring with no problems. This kept 2 horses occupied for 24 hours on most days, but we peeled hay off of a round bale to put in there. Probably 50-60 lbs each day. Ours hung from a cedar tree so it stayed dry during the rain and it allowed the hay to fall to the bottom so they had no trouble getting to all of it. After a few days the horses wouldn't eat the free choice hay, they went to the bag. It also calmed them down at feeding time. No more running each other away from grain. Love Love Love these bags! Reduced wasted hay, saved money and I only had to feed hay once a day.

Unfortunately - idea is great but does not do well in use. I had it for a month and it already had holes in it.Difficult to use and set up for one person feeding. I thought it worked well at first.If it wasn't over $100 I would not be surprised but for a product that is supposed to savea few bucks- it did not for me.

This feeder has given me so much freedom! My horses are happy happy! No more boredom habits. They are calm and content. I love that I can work my horse any time of the day instead of having to wait for him to eat breakfast in the morning. I also travel a lot. One bale feeds my horse for 4 days. Love it!!

These feeders are everything I expected. They are good for the horses and good for me, real convenient and time savers.

Last net we bought was really good! Thought we were getting the same product but it was not nearly as quality of a product.

After a few weeks I have my horses completely eating off the Freedom Feeder. I put it in a water trough and drilled some holes in it. Then I tied the bale down. )The horses were removing the bale.) Then I took some bungees and anchored the troughs to the fence. So far so good.
