Mold shouldn’t be an issue
I am super paranoid about bath toys and the mold they can grow. Therefore, I am very picky when I buy them. The little stars do not collect water, but the net frame does. However, there are multiple holes on the net frame that let the water leak out. The suction on the end of the net handle allows you to store it on the bath wall with the holes facing down for the water to drain. Overall, the toy is an A+ in my opinion, my toddler loves the glow in the dark feature.

Fun for the bath or pool
This is a fun toy for young children. It all feels pretty durable and should withstand some normal play for a long time. They were good about making the stars completely closed so that no water can get in them. The net, however, does have some holes around the frame and handle. The holes are pretty little but water can get in there, which could be a potential mold issue after some time. The good part about this though, is that all the holes are on one side so you can suction the net to the wall of the tub and let it drip dry overnight. That has worked okay for me so far. The suction on the net is pretty good too. Of course, if somebody is pulling on it, it will not stay in place, but otherwise it holds well. The glow is decent, but you will want to intentionally expose it to light to charge it up if you want a good amount of glow. I find that just allowing it to get a normal amount of light throughout the day does not result in a very bright glow, but if I put it directly under a light source for a while it will glow a bit brighter. The stars float nicely on top of the water and are easy to scoop up. They are also lightweight and easy to toss if you want to use it as a basketball game in the tub. I plan to use these in a water table for a glow party as well. This product is cute and fun to play with even if you don't use it for the glowing aspect. I think this would make a good gift for young children.

Make's bath time fun!
Munchkin always makes a great product but I think they knocked it out of the park with this glow in the dark catch a star set. We sometimes have to do some wheeling and dealing with our toddler to get him to take a bath voluntarily. Probably the best way we have found to get him excited for a bath is by giving him "glow stick" baths where we just throw some glow sticks from the dollar store in the tub. Up until now that made having toys in there a little less useful. Enter the Munchkin catch a glowing star toy. Our boys love these. They glow in the dark so its different from a normal run of the mill bath because you can turn the lights out and make bath time special. the suction cup holds pretty well but sometimes comes loose as expected. you can use the net to scoop up the floating stars, you can set the net up like a basketball net, you can stand it up to make a target, its a lot of fun. We really love this toy, but more importantly our kids both love this toy. You won't regret your purchase.

Nice alternative to ducky's
My son loves to play in the water and I have bought him all kinds of water dolls but most have a hole to absorb water which makes the inside of the toy gather dirt and other stuff, they are completely sealed. They seem to be completely sealed and instead of being a conventional ball or a ducky, they are stars, adding some variation to my son's bath toys. The use of the basketball court is a nice addition, my son still hasn't figured out how to use it, but he likes it regardless. One item I haven't been able to validate is the glow in the dark feature, we got these at night and immediately put these in the tub, with lights off, we didn't see any noticeable glow.Thank you for reading, If you found this review helpful, I would appreciate it if you could click "helpful", thank you!

Potential mold issue
The media could not be loaded. Two stars just for the three star/fish things as they float like every other bath toy would and they seem durable for playing, biting, and throwing. All three of those starts painted ok with different colors, and have eyes and mouth. The net-scoop-hoop will eventually grow mold because it has multiple holes in it where water goes in. It would be impossible to ipen it and dry it completely making it an optimal moisture environment for bacteria and mold to grow. Won't be keeping for long! Now for the main part: GLOW IN THE DARK! It's actually pretty disappointing as the toys are hardly glowing and it's even harder to see or find them in the bath water with bubbles and other toys. The suction cup holds good enough but not when my toddler is trying to hang on it. It eventually gave up causing my baby to slip and almost fall. So you definitely need supervision when playing with this toy.I won't recommend and probably would end up getting rid of it soon.
