Just this week a story came out about some old cancer patient beating his incurable disease with barley power, curcumin, and various other health foods that the mass industries don't want you dabbling in. If they cannot medicate you well yer done and dead so they say. Don't trust these people. Think for yourself. Turmeric has been a spice for how long again? Yeah, thought so. Used for thousands of years for hundreds even thousands of ailments. This is the extracted form of one of the main nutrients but I would also supplement with pure organic Turmeric as well. One thing I have heard is that this supplement is poorly absorbed. This is very possible like a lot of supplements. But you really need to do your own research. Dr's Best brands has a Phytosome delivery that supposedly works better. The catch is they only have a tiny amount of the Curcuminoids that this product has meaning their studies on efficacy are cast in doubt when you compare the amounts. Not only that but no one can be sure of their studies and what they actually mean because no hard numbers are really given about the exact details of the study. No one at this time is positive one way or the other and you are free to try both brands. I am sticking with this one presently because I like the idea of purity and the extract is mostly just that. I am not in bad health and only take it because I am curious at this point in time but I do take both kinds of Curcumin supplements. Taking the natural herb has been done for thousands of years and by mouth that seems to have done a great job in helping people. I am sure this is just fine in the end.
