Easy installation and very versatile with multiple cord choices and voltages, initial charging was done with a USB and took about 8 hours. I had to install it in an area that only gets full sunshine in the evening hours but still maintains 100% charge on my cameras.

As one other of the Q/A notes, never reaches full charge. Assume either faulty charging circuit, or bad battery pack... suspect the latter. Too bad because the features are there. Getting returned.Edit: It did finally reach full charge while on USB charge. Still concerned it couldn't do so in two full days of sun and one day on USB charge, but for now going to give it a try on a camera in a real setting and see how it goes. May adjust review after a couple months experience with it.

I wanted to place a trail camera on my "forest retreat" to record trespassers. I wanted the trail camera up a tree, out of reach, and I only visit the property once or twice a month. Replacing batteries was not an option. So I decided to try this solar panel and rechargeable battery.I chose the GardePro E6 Trail Camera with WiFi so I could download the photos from the ground.I did a dry run on the ground with the instructions in hand, and checked that everything was operational. After that, installation was easy, even while standing near the top of an extension ladder.The trail camera has been in operation without any issues for over 4 months, July through November. The camera is pointed North, toward the entrance, about 16 feet above the ground on a tall fir tree. This solar panel kit is on the other side of the tree, facing south, with about a 50% view of the sun due to some other trees nearby. One of the included cables fit the power jack of the trail camera.A couple months ago, I had a crew install a gate on the entrance. I have a complete timelapse of the operation with photos taken about every 60 seconds. So even with intense use, this battery kept the system operational.If there are any issues over the winter, I will update my review. But for now, five stars!1/20/23 update:There was a strong wind storm (45mph gusts) 6 days ago. I went to check on my property, and found that the solar panel had blown loose and was hanging down, facing the tree. But the trail cam this kit was powering was still working. In freezing to mid-40's temperatures, this battery powered the trail cam for 6 days without recharging. Also, although the way I had mounted the solar panel didn't withstand 25mph winds with gusts much higher, the battery and cables withstood a fall and no doubt some blowing back and forth in the high winds.

Love this thing. Just make sure it is in the sun. It takes a while for it to charge at first but it will last a long time and stays charged well if it has decent sun.

Couldn't keep flex charged with batteries. Put this on and never had another flex issue.

This camera arrived with a useless mount if you want to use it as a trail camera, did not include the tree mount with a large screw and bracket as shown in the product pictures and described. It only comes with a bracket for a home mount on a flat wall with several tiny screws that will not work well on a round tree with bark. This is not acceptable since the listing clearly shows a tree mount, which was not in the package. Can’t contact the company to resolve the issue.Update*** I was contacted by the seller and told they would refund me which has not happened, nor have they tried to make it right by sending the correct mount. They just ghosted me and there is still no way to reach them, other than leave a factual, but not 5 star review and have them contact you… I will update this when I mount the solar panel and add what I think of the function of the product. I do not recommend the product based on my experience so far.
