Best Linux Book I've Read!
Paul Bartley did a fantastic job on Learn Linux Quickly. While some might say the term “quickly” is misleading, this book clocks in at a little over 190 pages, and the content is as thorough as the other 500+ page Linux books out there. As a complete Linux beginner, I have learned a lot from reading this book. The content is complex, but the author has a great way of breaking down the topics into digestible pieces and provides plenty of examples. This makes the book very approachable, and there are many handy command line tips along the way. Overall, I really loved this book and found it to be very useful. My favorite part of the book was the comprehensive final project at the end. This book really does take you from your very first terminal keystroke to writing full programs in Bash. It starts with teaching you how to create and delete files and directories, administer your system (including account creation, package installation, and process management), and use standard input and output, redirection, and pipelines. Next you learn how to edit files with Vim, and finally, write shell scripts to automate tasks. This is a solid book that every Linux learner should have!

Great book to learn the fundamentals
Paul did a great job tackling important Linux topics and displayed them in an easy way. The book covers the CLI well, and has been written in a way anyone can understand. There is a good amount of coverage on scripting, bash concepts, text editing, user creations, file manipulation, and much more.
