If my husband wasn't satisfied, he would have already sent this tire back. So...it must work just fine!

Perhaps in some piece of product literature I was warned about this, but alas, it went in the dishwasher and didn't come out looking so good. Probably best to just rinse it clean. That said, no burger chef should be without one or more of these. If you fry your burgers on the griddle, pour a little water around your burger and cover it up with one of these as it will steam the meat and keep it extra juicy. But don't then put it in the dishwasher when you're done. In my simple, male-minded brain, things like this should be made dishwasher safe.

very nice heavy duty tires with liner but no tube

This is the second cheese melting dome I've purchased. The other, by Nordicware, was a little higher quality, but it was also a 9" or 10" dome, which can be too big depending on the pan I'm using or how much I have cooking on the griddle.For a single burger, egg, or whatever you want to quickly melt cheese on, this little dome is fantastic. I feel like a short order cook on "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives". I have read that this dome is not dishwasher safe, so I want to pass that warning along.

This burger cover is great for speeding up the cooking time & great for melting cheese slices on your already cooked burger patty. I would not recommend it for commercial use but it is great for the home kitchen. Bud@Bellcrest!!!

I like the product quality. I used once so far in a frying pan, so far so good, and wait to try it more

Good cover, but I would recommend trying to get a holder that stays on because it gets loose all the time.
