I work from home and my wife works long hospital shifts, so we’re both trying to stay awake without drinking coffee all day. These ended up being the perfect middle ground. Each piece gives just enough of a boost to get through meetings or long stretches of work, without that bitter coffee taste or crash. The caramel flavor is really good, with a toasted, slightly nutty depth that doesn’t feel overly sweet. I like that I can break the bar up and control how much caffeine I’m getting instead of committing to a full cup of coffee. Bonus points for being gluten free and not loaded with artificial stuff. They feel simple, convenient, and actually useful. These are a staple for us now!

These are REALLY good. Two squares of a bar is my new go-to workday post-lunch treat. Gotta hide the other half of the bar away haha. Can definitely feel the caffeine, even as a habitual morning coffee drinker (usually just one cup in the morning, though sometimes I do a refill). It's high quality chocolate too, not premium, but still high quality. Tastes great. I think the price is right on these, very satisfied with my purchase

If you need a little extra something for your day, these are perfect! I love that it's one big bar that you can split between you and your friends and throw into your purse. The dark chocolate isn't too bitter and is the perfect pick me up.

These are perfect for me and they taste awesome. I was expecting the taste to be on the artificial side, but they're actually a lot better than some of the name-brand chocolates that I'm kicking my addiction to (bye-bye!). The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy without being melty - a decadent, soft bite. I definitely feel the caffeine intake, but no jitters! I wouldn't even call it a "kick". I eat one to reverse my mid-day coffee crash. If I'm on the go in the morning, one of these bad boys is a great replacement for a cup of coffee and it lasts all day.

First off, I love awake chocolates! I use these during big proctored exams (like the MCAT) as I can get an energy boost without having to drink a cup of coffee. I previously bought them in store, however they no longer sell them at my Meijer. I did buy a box last year from amazon as they would come in prior to my big exam and were perfectly fine! These chocolates are a bit pricey since I have to buy the whole box now. This year I bought the milk chocolate flavor, however received the dark chocolate variety. Which is okay, I did enjoy the taste of the dark chocolate. They did come melted, which I understand my area was undergoing a heat wave. However, I do not know if being bars being melted changes the potency of the caffeine within the chocolates. Being melted definitely changes the color making it look more like a tan color (as seen in the picture) and also make the chocolate texture harder than normal. Feels like I have to break the chocolate apart in my hands because I would hurt my teeth.

This is one of my favorite brands of chocolate bar. Not only is it caffeinated (perfect for that mid-day pick me up), but it’s also delicious! They are a lovely balance of sweetness and richness, and melt on your tongue but not in your hands. I love to throw one of these in my bag when I travel to avoid paying $$$ for a bad airport coffee.

Ok so stick with me to the end because the bar was pretty amazing!! BUT— I Ordered a box of 12 bars but instead received an envelope with one. The bar had a packaging sticker on it saying 12 bars. Someone was asleep at the wheel at the company. Maybe they need to sample their own product and be more alert. Amazon which always does right refunded my money. But I’d rather of gotten my product. The bar itself tasted amazing and the caffeine fix was quick. I’m gonna order again and give them another chance. Fingers crossed 🤞 bar gets 4.5 stars

My new favorite chocolates! These are not only absolutely delicious, but they also have half a cup of coffee's worth of caffeine which is an added bonus! These bars make it easy to bring on the go and share with friends too! I can't wait to try the other flavors.
