Small C Clamp

I used these little C clamps to hold my computer monitor to a shelf on my little desk that actually isn't big enough to properly support it. They work just fine. The bolt heads (instead of a through bar) to turn the screw is compact and doesn't interfere with any movement close to the shelf. They seem nicely made and sturdy. All in all, a good deal.

Solid quality product, but had to return because the clamp did not close enough. My mistake

Want to make a product cheaper to produce? Just eliminate the quality control department and ease off on production consistency. Each piece of metal stock may the same length but the bends are in slightly different places, so both sides aren't the same length. The bolts are the same distance from the end, so where they line up to the other side varies. I already used them so the picture is a simple sketch to make the issue clear if the words didn't do it.

Though there are probably thousands of uses for clamps like these, I used them to rig a brake assembly for a 1938 GMC pickup. This clamp allowed me to hook up a spring switch for the brake. It clamped on very firmly to the pedal. I was impressed by the quality and strength of the clamp.

The build quality of the stainless steel 304 is very good, with the clamp solid and heavy. Unfortunately, 2 clamps had their 8mm threaded holes stripped. I only needed 4 clamps so I’m not sending the package back, but the buyer should check all threaded holes for stripping.

Excellent multi-purpose piece of hardware. I used this with flat bars of steel to repair patio umbrella rods that bent and broke when high winds pulled it off the deck.

I actually used these clamps to clamp the body molding on the side of my car to the welded seem underneath. The molding has a bracket designed to slide into a special clamp which of course is impossible to find as the car is an 08 Honda Accord Coupe. These worked perfectly. They are possibly even more secure.

These clamps are really heavy duty and stainless! Really good quality. A+++ Max clamping width with full thread engaged on the steel C clamp is 42mm. Minimum 15mm.
