I saw a lot of reviews for this mat that stated that the suction cups on it do not work, but I ordered it because it had the narrowest spine of all of the mats I could find on Amazon. It is true that the suction cups do not work even when they are wet, but this mat is still better than nothing because it is clear and pliable and does a decent job protecting the sink from my dishes and my dishes from the sink.
