Good solution, quality and ease of use.
This was a good solution to my need for a component input on my new TV. I connected this box into a component to HDMI converter and now I have 3 component devices connected to a single HDMI input on my tv.

Great Entry Level Device and Budget Friendly
For the price, this mechanical switcher is durable and has good video/audio quality. This a great entry level device for anyone needing a switcher on a budget. I have this connected to an RetroTink 5x (upscaler) and three older consoles. After a year of usage, I have two recommendations:First recommendation is to apply non-slip pads to this device as it slides alot on smooth surfaces or during connection set-up. Second recommendation is to use good video cables to get the most out this device and your retro consoles.

Recommended by HD Retrovision for use with their component cables.
Mechanical switcher does exactly what it's supposed to do. Does not require an external power supply which is great. Does not reduce quality of signals. Recommended by HD Retrovision for use with their component cable products. NES RGB With Multiout MOD, SNES and Sega Genesis model 1 consoles all look fantastic and switch box functionality does exactly as expected. What would be better? 6-8 inputs and 2 simultaneous signal outputs. I give it a 4.5 Star Rating.

Build quality
I used to build a lot of my own audio equipment, so one of the first things I do is " check what's inside". This is a surprisingly well built little unit for the price. I'll be using this unit to switch between a couple of vintage video/audio decks and my preamp.

Best mechanical component switcher box ever for the price
This is very good product it's mechanical switcher component box meaning there's NO extra processing being done so no extra lag. This box for around the price that I bought it is a really good component switcher box product. Because it adds very little interference to the analog component video to the output. There is some interference added to the image but it's so minimumal that you would barely noticed and from my experience it's than the other component box switcher I seen. At first I accidentally loaded a PAL version of game in my ed64plus cartridge in Nintendo 64 so obviously my North American television doesn't support that signal. So I thought it was the switcher component box but it wasn't that why I did return but I cancelled the return when I realized what stupid mistake I did. I glad I caught that mistake I did and that's when I realized this component switch box is mechanical so it basically can support any resolution you throw at it as long the Television and equipment supports it. This is very great product and I highly recommend it if you want a cheap solution for your gaming setup.

Making Choices
Sorry wrong reviewed posted, here’s the right one. There’s so many to choose one but it all depends on style. I like this one and I can connect three different units and to choose any of the 3 is with no problem. The video components unit I have has no HDMI output, instead it has component output, not sharper as using HDMI (1080) but at least 720 and that’s good enough for me. I would recommend simplicity.

Excellent component box on a budget
I have had nothing but great luck so far with these boxes, I ordered 4 of them, so that I have 3 functional boxes allowing for 9 component cables, and I run all three outputs into the other switch box and use it's output to run to my Tv. I am using HD Retrovision Male to Male cables for the TV/outputs/inputs on last box, and a mix of HD Retrovison and other high quality component cables for my consoles/input. TV is a Sony Trintron KV32HS500. I have had no issues at all with image or sound quality. I highly reccomend this unit to anyone looking. I will be buying more to keep for backups. I would suggest adding rubber feat pr velcro to the bottoms, these boxes are light and like to move around especially when all cables are connected.
