Worked well. I know I should have red direction thoroughly, but having blue wire be ground and black wire be sensor is very non-standard. I thought it was DOA, but I did go back and double check directions, rewired, and it works.

I have a 48 Willys with a custom made under seat fuel tank. I have been battling (arm style) fuel sending units for years. They would stick and were inaccurate. This unit installed easily, in fact, the 5 screw holes lined up perfectly. I could have used the supplied diagram, but I took a chance. I was reluctant to purchase it due to how cheap it was, but I would recommend this to anyone.

Other customers should know that the sender plate with the five holes are symmetrical, but not equidistant. Since most people don't spend a whole lot of their lives, replacing sender units in boats, this is probably not something that's common knowledge. The pieces of pie formed by the holes are 72°, 68°, and the last one is 80°. So you've got to get it oriented right or it will drive you crazy. Other wise, it works.

Easy to install, seem accurate, and fuel level does not fluctuate even on hard turns.

this unit only senses empty, 1/4 tank, 1/2 tank, 3/4 tank and full. Very disappointed. I found this out long after installing the unit because I could not figure out how I was already out of fuel.
