Update: I have had the case two months now. I took it to Mexico the first week I had my phone was in and out of the water constantly. Case did awesome. I have dropped the phone several times and overall I am happy with the case but there is one major flaw. The camera lens portion of the case is made out of plastic that scratches very easy. It has gotten scratched up with dust in my pocket and rubbing on cloth. One of the best parts of the iPhone 13 is the camera. Unfortunately now my camera pictures look terrible from all the scratches. I will have to get a new case.Best case I could find. I searched extensively for the mot protective case that was also water proof this is the best case I could fine for the iPhone Pro 13 Max. I have broken a lot of phones over the years. I have only ever found a few cases that I like and this one is great.

When I placed my order I was under the understanding that I would receive a brand new case, instead I received a dirty and scratched case. I don’t mind that it is used, but I paid $70 for it which is outrages for a used item.

So I have been purchasing LifeProof cases (specifically the Fre style) since it first came on the market and before they were bought by OtterBox. And since they were purchased some years ago by Otterbox I’ve had nothing but quality issues with this product but they are the only dependable phone case that is thin AND waterproof for long periods under water. I purchased the Mag style Fre version for my latest phone, iPhone 13 pro max, and after less than one month of use the cover for the charging port broke off. I would not say I’m aggressive with my phone but isn’t this a “life proof” case?? The one you use to be able to run over with with your car?!? (Before Otterbox takeover) and now trying to get a warranty replacement is such a hassle. ESPECIALLY if you bought it via Amazon and not direct. It’s a difference of having to call during their business hours if you purchased from Amazon or just filling out an online form if you didn’t. Ridiculous. So ended up just shelling out for a new one since I needed ASAP. I’m a loyal fan of the product but I’m giving this low stars for most durability because that is what is suppose to be DURABLE and “life” “proof”!!
