Works on par with my $300+ noise gate pedals.
Amazing little gate for the money. Highly recommend. It was on par with my $300 G-string noise gate as the use the same circuits supposedly. 🙏 Made sturdy. have dropped this a few times, it's been through hell and still working great. 😅

WOW
I wasn't expecting much for under $30, but I am blown away. This took 100% of the hum and whine away from my high gain overdrive loop. The gate has a slight delay at the tail end that's noticeable when you're just listening to yourself, but it's imperceptible in a mix. The only other downside is that it eats into my sustain just a bit, but I'd so much rather have less sustain and zero noise than have full sustain and a cacophony of humming and whining.

Solid noise gate for the cost.
For the cost and functionality, it's pretty difficult to complain about the Rowin noise gate pedal. I mainly use this pedal when using distortion, and it does a pretty good job of reducing hiss. When stacking distortion with overdrive, I noticed the gate tended to cause signal decay quickly, so I had to tweak it a little to find a sweet spot, which took around ten minutes. Once I found the sweet spot for my set up, I tested it with my modulation pedals as well, and I had no issues. The compact size of the noise gate pedal is also a huge plus for gigging. I prefer a lightweight, compact pedal board, so this pedal is perfect for my needs. The pedal require 12v power, pretty much standard for the majority of guitar pedals on the market. I use a typical 12v power supply, and the Rowin noise gate works with it just fine. This is a solid pedal for any musician looking for a compact, inexpensive noise gate.

Amazing for the price
This is the best noise gate for the price, hands-down. It works exactly as expected and fits really nicely at the end of my pedal board. No more annoying hum/noise! It immediately made my rig sound more professional. I'd highly recommend this pedal.

Glad to own one!
This Noise Gate does the trick. Mind you, I am a complete newb to the world of guitars, so I had to do a serious amount of tweaking for my set up. I have a strat copy that I modified with a lot of new parts. I find that when I set both of the tone knobs at about 2, I get enough tone with a very small amount of feedback. With this as my foundation, I run that clean sound through my compressor, then into my booster before it hits the noise gate. There is still a hum that I think only comes from the amp when turning the volume higher so I keep the volume fairly low enough (around 1 or 2) to where I don't hear the hum very much, but can still get a nice sound out of the speaker. The overall tone could stand a bit more brightness, so I'll be adding an EQ Pedal to the setup today to fine tune it even more; however, the noise gate is doing its thing! The only time I really hear any feedback is when I switch to the bridge pickups and thats when the sound is pushing through the gate. Once the tones sustain starts to fade, the noise gate kills the feedback nicely. I honestly did not know what to expect once I added this pedal to my set up, though I can say after a week of using it, I'm happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend this item as a must have.

Gate doesn’t close fast enough unless threshold cranked
It’s okay. It’s not transparent and adds some interesting hissy tone. Even with the fast switch on, this pedal’s gate doesn’t close fast enough unless you crank the threshold. Even with the threshold cracked the gate doesn’t close very fast and there’s an odd swirly hiss before the gate closes shut. At a 12 o’clock setting you start losing tone and volume and forget about any sustain past 2 o’clock. If you’re doing nothing but chugging you may be able to get away with this as it does cut the annoying sounds no one wants albeit at too high of a threshold for me. The metal casing is awesome, the plastic knob feels like dollar store plastic. Seems well built overall but the clicker is one of those hear it three rooms away clickers… at the price though that’s probably just nitpicking.

Best Pedal Ever
I don’t normally write a lot of reviews but I had share this with the world. I play a lot of semi hollow guitars, namely Gretsch streamliners and an Epiphone dot. As with all semi-hollows there’s an issue with feedback. I play a lot of rock music as well and Behringer noise reducer just wasn’t cutting it. It killed the tone of my other guitars. So I was looking for something new. I had my eye on some Boss pedals when this came along. Reviews were good and the price was a steal so I had to check it out. I tested it out today and man is this thing the best pedal I’ve ever owned. It doesn’t take away from my guitar tone and I can play loud without having any issues with feedback unless I want it. The true bypass is an awesome feature too. I can’t get over this pedal. I can get some killer rock tones from my Gretsch’s like never before. If you’re on the fence about this pedal let this review be the thing that tells you to go for it. It’s great, compact, easy to use, and for the price? It’s almost too good to be true.

Good pedal
Great device for killing unwanted noise from extensive pedal board. I love the choice of hard vs soft gating.

So beautiful, the package is... perfect nice holder. Elegant. Not a really big thing but nice clear black box with a magnetic close. This is a box for a pedal.

Works as hoped and better
I play in a metal band, and I am constantly pushing limits. I can't afford fancy expensive equipment so I ride the extremes of my lower end equipment to keep up with my bandmates and not get drowned out. I run my Ibanez through a Revv G3 as a pre-amp, and then into my Solid State Marshall Mg30dfx, and use the built in overdrive to produce a killer dark crunch. I have to crank the volume to be heard alongside the drummer and the lead's Hughes and Kettner tube head and 212 Cab, so naturally I spawn a massive amount of noise with the pedal and amp gains working together with ramped volume, huge noise. I was too cheap to spring for the Boss Ns-2 so went this route, expecting to have my tone destroyed and no noise suppression but once tuned in, this mini pedal quieted my noise exponentially. Well worth the money, will be in line on my setup for the forseeable future
