Cantu Coconut Curling Cream with Shea Butter for Natural Hair, 12 oz

I use this for my son's hair! He has really nice hair so I like to make sure it's well taken care of. He is mixed with African American, Mexican, and Caucasian so his hair is curly and he likes to keep it long it's important for me to get a strong curl cream that has many good qualities. For me this protects his hair and keeps it moisturized without weighing down his curls or making them crunchy, that being said a little goes a long way and if you add too much it will get those white flakes on the scalp so don't over apply. It's thick so distribute it evenly and focus on the curl patterns rather then the thickness, I have come to find that using really small amounts and focusing on the curls does better then just grabbing a big amounts and rubbing it all over. I have curly hair myself but my mom didn't know how to do my hair so these are things I learned as I grew up and wish I knew. I think it does add shine, but if you are like my son if you sleep rather restless after night 2 it's gonna need a touch up because the frizz will start to happen. I am very happy with the product for smelling nice, providing hold and curl definition, being affordable and lasting awhile I usually buy two jars at once and my sons hair wash days vary between every other day to 3 days and they last me about 4 months but keep in mind he does not have a sensitive scalp so I am not sure on how this product would be with that case and I honestly apply it really thin on his top layer to avoid the flakes that have happened from over applying in the past.

I really like the Cantu Coconut Curling Cream with Shea Butter. It makes my curls feel soft, moisturized, and more defined without making my hair feel too crunchy. A little goes a long way, and I love that it helps with frizz and gives my hair that healthy, hydrated look. The coconut scent is nice too much, just enough. Great product for natural curls, especially when my hair needs extra moisture and definition!

This curling cream works really well. It keeps my curls soft, moisturized, and defined without feeling greasy or sticky. It has a pleasant coconut scent, and a little goes a long way. Great value for the price, and I would definitely buy it again. Highly recommended!

I bought this for my daughter because she has naturally curly/wavy hair and I wanted something to help bring them out. I followed the directions and it left her hair greasy and heavy. Her curls were no where. This picture is from at least 4 hours after applying a very small amount to her head. I am assuming this happened because her hair is fine and thin. Pros: the product smells AMAZING! It is super thick and rich. It feels good quality. The container was also larger than I expected. So for about $5 it was a good deal because you only need a small amount. It is also ever nourishing. It was heavy and greasy on my daughter’s hair. But once we washed and rinsed after, her hair was super soft. Cons: if you have thin or fine hair. It is too much for it. Even a small amount. It didn’t help with her curls at all. Overall I feel like it is a well made product that is a good value. If you have fine or thin hair I don’t think it’s for you. It does makes a very nice hair mask though. I think I’ll keep it for that purpose. But for a curling product it didn’t work for us. Since I bought it for that purpose, I only gave it 4 starts.

Amazing for curly dry hair and smells amazing. My only concern is I hear it causes a wax buildup on your hair requiring you to strip hair occasionally or it will stop your hair from absorbing moisture.

I like this product much better than others. Made it so easy for my hair to look in style. I think it is the best so far! My friends like the product as they borrow it for their hairs. Good value for the money. It holds for hours.

While I do love the way it defines my curls and adds shine, ever since I started using this cream my scalp has gotten so unbelievably itchy. Just not for me.

Smells pretty good and makes my curly hair look good for one or two days before I need to do anything else. Would love this same blend with different scents.

Smells amazing! Also keeps my curls 3a very soft and takes the frizz away that I had before, wet my hair then put this in it and let it air dry after scrunching and turns out amazing every time!

Have replaced wet gel with this leave in conditioner for styling. Smells great, keeps thick hair in place, and conditions. Great on thick Asian hair.

حبيت المنتج بصورة فوق الخيال رائحته ١٠ على ١٠ , والكمية مقارنة بالسعر ممتازة حد الخيال العبوة بتكفي معاي شهرين شعري من النوع الخفيف جدًا وبيدي شعري لمعان وسماكة جميلة , جربت كريمات كيرلي عدة قبل كانتو , لحد ما لقيته وقلت أجرب ومن بعدها بقى هو المفضل عندي الشباب بيحتاجوا زمن علشان يتعلموا كيف يستعملوه , بس بديكم نصيحتي: ١ - جففوا شعركم تمامًا وما يكون فيه ذرة رطوبة , لازم يكون جاف نهائيًا ٢ - مشطوا شعركم وفكوا التشابك وبعدين ٣ - شيلوا كمية بسييييطة من كانتوا وافركوها بدكم وبعدين ملسوا بها الشعر بإتجاه من وراء للأمام ٤ - شيلوا كمية بسيطة كمان والمرة دي ادهنوا بها من الأمام للخلف وكرروا نفس العملية يمين ويسار بعدها سرحوه حسب مزاجكم لا تدهنوا كمية كبيرة , الكريم عنده عطر قوي (ريحته جميلة جوز هند) بس ممكن تضايقكم + ممكن يمسك ويعمل لون أبيض بالشعر علشان كدا انتبهوا من الكمية الكبيرة كمان ما تدهنوا جوانب الشعر لأنه ممكن تسيل مع الحرارة بالصيف وتعمل أحساس غير مريح.

Lo que me gusta de esta crema es que tiene buen tamaño , es un tarro que si rinde y llega a durar varios meses depende la cantidad que necesites usar Su olor es agradable huele a coco, en lo personal me gusta mucho pero si es algo fuerte para algunas personas que no les guste tanto ese aroma La consistencia es espesa, algo dura, en esta característica es algo que me gusta y no, para aplicarla debes tener el cabello muy mojado y rebajarla con agua, con poco producto tienes, si usas mucho y no lo rebajas con agua puede que queden algo tiesos tus rizos y si lo aplicas con el cabello seco no lo podrás distribuir igual para mejor resultado se debe rebajar con agua Otro comentario es que el producto si es pesado y a veces aunque te bañes puede quedar producto en tu cabello y acumularse, mi cabello es algo seco y si lo hidrata pero al acumularse a veces se suele dañar un poco, Quiero recalcar que reaccionará también dependiendo de tu tipo de cabello, el mío es ondulado-rizado , y es muy seco En si creo es depende como utilices el producto y tu tipo de cabello , conociendo el producto y sabiendo cómo usarlo puedes lograr muy buenos resultados
