I am very impressed!
I am very impressed with these headphones! They look good, sound great and the microphone is better than a lot of headset microphones. Setting up was simplicity itself. I just plugged in the USB cable into my PC and I was up and running. Devices like this should always be plug and play and the headphones behaved exactly how I wanted them to. I tried out some music to see what the headphones sound like (and I have a headphone testing playlist set up for times like this) and the headphones sounded great. Background noise is minimal, the headphone earpads provide a really good seal so I wasn't distracted by the sound of the TV and there was a good volume range that covered more than what I would really want to use. The headphones themselves have a good clear sound where you can pick up the subtlety of the sounds while having plenty of bass without losing the clarity of the music. This was tested across a variety of music styles ranging from 70s jazz, 80s jazz funk and pop, 90s indie, classic rap and modern synthwave, and everything sounded good to me! The microphone works well, sounds clear and accurate, although the pick up pattern may pick up some low level background noise when in use. I would expect them to be fine for gaming, but if you are on an important zoom call it may be best to use them somewhere quiet. The mute switch on the in line remote is a great thing to have so you can silence the microphone without having to remove it or mess around with windows settings. The RGB is subtle, but not adjustable. The outside of the ear cups has an illuminated logo when the RGB is active and colour cycles. It looks good, but won't be distracting to the person using the headphones or the people around them. Other than the RGB the headphones look very serious (in black), have a firm but comfortable clamping pressure and would look the part on game streams or online meetings. Overall, these are great looking, fantastic sounding comfortable headphones that just work, and are going to be go to headphones for late night gaming, video calls and listening to music through my PC. They certainly exceeded my expectations and I am happy to recommend them.

Good solid PC gaming headphones, but not great!
Need a PC gaming headset? Want a funky RGB one? These are the Edifier G2 II Gaming Headset with USB connector and inline volume control. These come in black in a modern design with 2. 5m cord length, mic and RGB light up when connected via USB. These just plug n play into your PC, and you can tailor make your experience with the online graphic equaliser. You can use on PC, PS or Mac. But they do work better with PC if you want the graphic equaliser and full RGB light up. To control these is pretty basic, the remote has + / - vol jog wheel, RGB light on / off and mute button. Using these is a pretty mediocre experience as far as wired gaming headphones go, they aren't breaking no boundaries. The earpads don't quite drown out all external noise, as it is normal foam not memory. Playing Roblox / Minecraft is alright, the sound is supposed to be surround 7.1, I am not so sure but it is reasonably clear. The 50mm driver does a job upto 98dB. The design is decent, they look modern and not too cowabunga, quite Conservative to be honest. Not sure what Hecate is on the top printed? These are perfect for fat handed teens who break things so easily, as for the price, they are easily replaceable. In all honesty you'd be hard pushed to find a much better built set of budget PC gaming headphones. They look ok, sound decent (not 7.1 though, I'd argue!), comfortable and don't cost a fortune. Recommended.

Great Sound, Great Mic, and Great Comfort, Just Needs a Better Wire
I bought this headset back in early August because of the Prime Day sales. I was looking for a decent gaming headset that had good sound, a good quality mic, and cute asethetics. So when I saw this one, I was pretty interested. Although there aren't many asethetic options, I was happy with the pink. When it arrived, it was in a nice package; there were no bumps, rips or anything. When I opened said package, it was only then I noticed that the neko ears were an optional thing to add to the headset itself. I thought this was a great thing at first, but because they're attached with a sticky tape-like adhesive, they fell off easily (at least for me). Once one of them fell off, it was pretty much over from there. The sticky side picked up some dust and the stickiness immediately went away; I ended up taking the other one off after that. However, I didn't let that stop me from using the headset. When I attached the mic for the first time, there was some annoying popping/static noises in my ear. However, after making sure the mic was pushed in all the way, the noises stopped. So, no issues with the detachable mic. The mic's quality was pretty good for what it was; my Discord friends all agreed I sounded very clear and "as crispy as a fresh juicy apple". The muffs were pretty comfy on the ears, however I did have to make sure I cleaned them here and there; and even doing that the inside still got dirty, but that's because tended to fall asleep with them still on. I personally liked the mic mute button being attached onto the wire, but I'm aware most people perfer gaming headsets to have the button on the back of the left earphone. Which is understandable, as I sometimes would be talking to my friends or playing a game with voice recognition with this headset, only to find out I was muted for like the past 15 minutes because I accidentally clicked the mute button. Only mildly frusturating. My biggest issue with the headset was the wire. I dont have an issue with wired heatsets, ONLY IF the wire is a good quality. The feeling of the wire seemed fine; it was thick and had that rubbery-plastic feeling to it. The issue is that the end points of the wires are extremely easy to loosen after a certain amount of time. After about half a month, I noticed the ends of the wire coating becoming weaker. After a month, the wires were exposed. Another half month later, and every section where the coating met a piece of the headset were completely messed up (Where the wire meets the earcuff, and both sides of where the mute button is located). The mic stopped working altogether in mid October, and I had to get a new headset. It's a shame really, because the sound quality is amazing too. Although I wouldn't call it a "noise cancellation" headset, as I still heard a lot of stuff through the cuffs, the noise cancellation comes in the form of extremely nice sound; Sometimes I felt as if I had a loudspeaker to my ear (which is perfect for people who rely music for things). So, in the end, I'm giving this product and overall rating of 3 stars. Why? because although I'm giving 4 stars for how good the headset was for gaming, 3 for the quality of noise cancellation, and 5 for sound quality...I added my own personall ratings as well: aesthetics and durability, which received a 3 and 2 respectfully. I feel like if HECATE made a bluetooth version of this headset (no more wire issues) that had a slightly better noise cancellation effect, better ears (either magnetic or permanently attached), and maybe color customization (not needed, but I feel like gamers are picky about lights they can't change because it might conflict with their setup's aesthetic), I would've given it a perfect 5 stars overall. --Peppa

Not durable
These headphones work great for a little while and then they crap out. Mic stops working well, a crackling noise in both ears, all around become pretty useless. Disappointing. I had moderate hopes. Wish I could get a refund.
