Areaware Bottle Opener in Walnut

Came as advertised

Was looking for a no-bend bottle cap opener. This works great. They do charge a little too much for it though. Seems sturdy and should last me many years.

Let me start off by saying this is hands down the best bottle opener I've ever used. I collect bottle caps so it's very important for me to be able to get a bottle cap off of a bottle with as little damage as possible. This opener manages to somehow get the bottle cap off seemingly without damaging the face OR the sides of the bottle cap, it's like magic.The magnet that contacts the bottle cap also does a great job keeping the cap in place after you pop it off the bottle, which prevents the cap from dropping on the floor or flying across the room!The magnet on the other side of the bottle opener lets you put it on a fridge or other metal surface. Some other reviews mentioned how the fridge magnet was weak and that you had to carefully place it or else it wouldn't stay on the fridge. This has NOT been my experience at all, the magnet is very strong and snaps onto the fridge with a strong and satisfying clunk, easily staying in place on the fridge.This bottle opener is amazing! So why am I deducting a star? Well, I've had the bottle opener for a week now, have only opened about 3-4 bottles... and the nail fell out. After grabbing another bottle and getting the bottle opener over the top of the cap in prying position, the nail loosely shifted and then completely pulled itself out. I'll probably just pour some super glue into the hole and put the nail back in, but I'd expect a $19 bottle opener to be more solid considering how little I've used it...

This bottle opener is easy on the eyes and quite the conversation starter. The next time you have people over and they ask, "where's the bottle opener?", you'll be struttin' over to this bottle opener and ever so smoothly say, "here you go." The minute you let go of the bottle opener, you might as well start gazing up at the sky in preparation for all the compliments. Seriously though, it's ingenious, awesome-looking, and it's sturdy. You'll be the talk of the century, or at least the topic of conversation during the car ride home. All they'll be saying is, "that bottle opener was friggin' awesome, right?!". We've had ours for over a year and we have absolutely no complaints. If you like attention, this will give you plenty, but if you have some shy guests, let this item open a conversation (pun intended). Anyway, can't say enough good things about this bottle opener. In fact, you should just stop reading and buy it now! Go on dear internet friends...buy it. Have I ever steered you wrong? Enjoy your new bottle opener!

Stepdad liked this fun Xmas stocking stuffer gift- uses it a lot and complimented the craftsmanship and quality of the wood. Such a simple clever, effective design, very handy and will get years of use. Glad to support a wood worker artist, hate the plastic crap stuff!

So simple. So easy. So goddamn hard to beat. I thought I was a badass and tried to make one and it came out terrible. Don't be Tim the Tool Man Taylor and try to save some $ you cheapskate. Just buy it it will last forever or until you lose it like I did.Its magnetic so you can stick it to the fridge or oven or your metal government head implant. Pops the cap off nice and the magnet holds on to it so it doesn't go scattering across the floor and make you look like your drunk, which your not, well at least until you pop a few more and actually get drunk and then you wont care and maybe not even use the damn opener cause you think you can use your teeth or a counter top and then you end up in the hospital with 3 to 7 inch lacerations or 3-7 teeth missing. Just don't do that. Just use the opener dude.

This bottle opener is 10/10 in my book. It has a magnet for the fridge. Opens bottle caps very nicely and does not ruin the cap for home brewers this is a plus as you can reuse. The cap sticks to the magnet so you dont have to pick up off the floor. Never had to try more than once to open a bottle. I have 4 of these in every room I drink beer and they have opened over a 1000 bottles (my hobby is beer and I try and drink one per day). This is the best bottle cap opener I have ever received and believe me as a fan of beer people are always giving me bottle openers.

I purchased this bottle opener as a birthday gift for my father, a notoriously "hard-to-shop-for" person. He's a handy guy who appreciates innovative products that he has never before seen. This particular bottle opener has two magnets--one that adheres the bottle opener to the fridge and another that clings to the bottle cap once it's been opened. My dad loved these magnetic features. The design, while very simple, has a rugged, masculine essence to it that appeals to my dad's tastes. He busted this bottle opener out at our most recent family gathering, and I could tell that he was pleased to have it! This makes for a fun, inexpensive little gift.

An sich ein schöner, ausgefallener Öfnner. Jedoch wirkt die Verarbeitung sehr einfach (grobe Holztextur/ teilweise splitter/ grobe Kanten). Die gelieferte Qualität enspricht nicht meinem Qualitätsanspruch bei einem solch hohen aufgerufenen Artikelpreis. Da es ein Geschenk war und der Beschenkte sich freute gibt es immerhin 3 Sterne.

Originale in modo assurdo, pezzo sicuramente artigianale, ho dato 4 e non 5 stelle solo per il prezzo... Un po' altino ma amen...
