A dead mic gets no sound
These are basically worthless.I purchased 16 sets to replace Rode Wireless Filmmaker kits, but the built-in batteries on these GO II's won't hold a charge. All 16 -- only a few months old -- and none of them are worth a damn in the field. They all go dead. Even freshly charged, after a couple days JUST SITTING, they're practically dead again! And these things are brand new! Some, we haven't even used yet!Another teacher from a neighboring school has had the same experience with these: they just don't hold a charge. And who cares about the sound quality if they can't power on!?It was stupid of me to buy lavs without replaceable batteries, but it was stupid of Rode to make them. Why would anyone on a legit filming activity want a mic on which they can't replace the battery? A dead mic means no filming! Why would you stall your whole production because you've got to charge one of these stupid things!?Let's combine their useless batteries with the struggle of using these things: you can only adjust the audio level for BOTH lavs together. So if one of your subjects is loud, and the other is quiet... Like, are the people at Rode even thinking about these things? How did they screw these up so badly on the design end?Don't make the same mistake I did. Get real lavs with batteries you can replace, and levels you can individually adjust. And Rode, if you're reading this, replace the old wireless Filmmaker kit with something WORTHY. Ugh... 16 sets of these stupid paperweights I have now!!! SMH....

Does not come with a USB-C to Lightning Adapter Cable
I still need to test out the system. I expect that it will work. However, my main complaint is that the advertising does not clearly state if the kit includes a USB-C to Lightning adapter cable, which is needed to connect your Rode system to an iPhone. It includes USB-C cables that only work to charge the transmitters. To connect to your iPhone, you need to purchase a USB-C to Lightning cable, which is sold by Rode or a Lightning to USB3 Camera Adapter, which is sold by Apple. This would be a great buy if it included a USB-C to Lightning cable that you can use to connect to an iPhone. It would be great if it clearly stated the cables that are part of the purchase and not allow the consumer to confuse the USB-C charger cables with a USB-C to Lightning data transfer cable.

Good wireless microphone for the money.
I have not noticed any interference or drop outs. The wire that holds the microphone to the tie clip pulled out of the plastic when I tried to insert the microphone. Other than that I am happy with it.

The Rode Go II wireless mic is great!
Rode came out with updated software that enabled greater functionality then previously stated. I almost canceled and purchased the DJI mic, but after careful review of the product, the Rode is a much better system.
