Review: Best electrolyte! - I really like the high potassium, low sodium, and all the other minerals. If I feel like I need a little extra salt, I just add a pinch. I like how I can control how much salt I take in. I bought 5 flavors, lemon raspberry, tangerine, orange, cherry pomegranate, and tropical fruit. The lemon raspberry is refreshing. The tropical tastes like coconut. The cherry tasted a little strange, not my favorite. The orange is very mild, doesn’t taste like much. The tangerine is by far my favorite, delicious. The key is to make it the day before, in a 16 oz mason jar with a plastic lid. I’ll have 3 to 4 already made up and in the fridge, ready to drink first thing in the morning ( just 1 a day). It even tastes better the next day, the flavor soaks in and it dissolves better, just give a shake before drinking. I wish they would make the tangerine in the larger size, “value size”, and make it less expensive. I bought some on Prime day, on sale, good time to stock up. Definitely the best electrolyte powder I’ve ever tried, I’m sticking with this one.

**Q: Is Dr. Berg’s newer electrolytes (lemon) dramatically less sweet than his others (orange, etc)? I’m in ketosis, plus don’t like sweets.**
A: Just got this stuff and tried it.  It is sickeningly sweet. Why?  Why on earth does Dr. Berg  make products that taste like candy when he preaches NO SUGAR in the diet?  Anyone who has eliminated sugar is going to be far more sensitive to anything sweet.  Just make it unsweetened and let us add our own sweetener (or not) to our OWN taste.  So disappointing.

**Q: Why are Dr. Berg's shipping costs so outrageous?  $9.40 to ship this powder?  it does not cost that much to ship a small container!**
A: Shipping is expensive.  A small flat rate box USPS is $8.50 and the container would not fit in that box.  $9.50 is reasonable.

**Q: Suitable for vegetarian**
A: Yes, it is suitable for vegetarians.

**Q: Is the citric acid non gmo fruit based or is it black mold based?**
A: Modern practices of making citric acid is using aspergillus niger (a mold)…look it up!  Long gone are the days when manufacturers actually use citrus.  Unless it actually says “derived from citrus” you should assume that it’s made from mold.

Contains more potassium than other electrolyte powders, and they have a good variety of flavors. I occasionally try other brands but I have not found any that I think are better.
