Searching the Scriptures: Find the Nourishment Your Soul Needs Hardcover – September 13, 2016

Very good book. I enjoyed both the methods he mention and the examples he gave as he "led" You through studying a passage using the method. It is a basic book on how to study the Bible. I have been studying the Bible for years but still benefitted from reviewing some fundamental principles.

By teaching me step by step how to look into the scriptures I have found that the Holy Spirit is right there helping me understand. Before this book I had no idea where to start.

What a tremendous book, so unique in its style, the kind of book you won't put down till you've finished! I found it to be a beautiful sequel, a remarkable companion to Howard Hendrick's book, Living by the Book.

This book is a wonderful guidebook for anyone who would like help in searching the Scriptures. It is valuable for self study and also for someone learning to lead a Bible study group. Charles Swindoll explained concepts and then had the reader practice and apply.

As usual Charles Swindoll's books are always of excellent spiritual quality. He has learned well, many years of experience, that leads to excellent writing and teaching skills.

Pastor Swindoll thank you for your teaching and obedience to write this book. I look forward to preparing my own meals. I may have to get this book in Hard copy and read it again to make some major highlights and bookmarks.

I love this book by Chuck Swindoll. It is an easy read and it has really enhanced my Bible study and quiet time.

This is one of Chuck’s most important books and a wonderful revealing of how he writes this incredible sermons.
