Works well on old paint
Still as effective as it was back in the day. You might need two goes and remember to slaver it on like thickly buttered toast.

Absolutely useless, the Screwfix no nonsense paint stripper was far more effective, how it can be called a paint/varnish stripper is beyond belief, the top drawer in the photo was with the Screwfic paint stripper the bottom drawer was Nitromors, both left foe exactly the same amount of time.

Not as strong as it used to be
Not as powerful as it was years ago so something has changed it took three applications to remove a small patch

Old favourite that never fails to work
Excellent product, works in minutes and is always effective. I bought it for window sills and skirting boards. But in the past I’ve used it to help with restoring furniture and stripping back many layers of paint. The key to this is following the easy instructions and patience. You can’t miss it working as the paint bubbles. Use a good old fashioned scraper and you’ll find this product really easy to use.

Not effective
Doesn’t seem to remove varnish well at all, I have a wood effect varnish on the balustrades of the stairwell which this stripper didn’t penetrate at all. I think I will go back to the thinner Nitromors to see if that is more effective. Pretty disappointed to be honest
