I bought this hoping to use it to time therapy sessions in a subtle way with the flashing light alarm rather than beeping. Unfortunately the clock only has 2 options; very loud beeping (audible in a chattering classroom) or very quiet beeping (sounds like someone in the next room has left a quiet alarm on). I guess the quiet alarm would be fine in most situations, eg if you were just timing yourself in a library or workspace. It definitely isn’t silent though which was the whole reason I paid extra for this timer rather than just using a regular kitchen timer. Humph!
