Rancilio Silvia (V1/V2) Steam Wand

Used this for my gaggia classic pro. Worked great. Much needed upgrade

This works with the Delonghi EC260BK (the machine i have). There was only one video of how to do this mod for the insulated hose machines. I noticed there isn’t a lot of information about how to add the rancillo steam wand to the EC260BK version specifically. Though it is definitely doable. In fact the EC260BK, seems to be the easiest of the stilosa family to work with as it doesn’t really require you to even remove the screws on the boiler. If you’re doing this on the EC260BK, just make sure your screw drivers are long AND thin enough. Use hot water and a hair dryer for get the plastic nut onto new wand. Get a spring hose clamp to attach the hose to the new wand (it’s worth the couple extra bucks) 5/16 worked for me though had to tighten down a decent amount. For those who are on the fence about it, I would say to do it. The Rancillo steam wand is a great upgrade, steams milk A LOT faster, has better power and is only a $20 upgrade. As other reviews mentioned, the wand does get pretty hot, and the milk dries a bit on the surface, but nothing a wet cloth can’t fix. Yes the process, may be a bit lengthy but if you’re into the hobby and have a bit of time on your hands it’s a fun way to spend a couple hours. The actual process is not hard in any way. So even if you aren’t very DIY, this is totally doable. It’s more or less about having the right tools, and once you learn the process it becomes a lot easier.

Revived the old $600 Ranchillo. Fit well. Easy to install. Made my wife happy so I am happy.

Upgraded the steam wand on my Stilosa. This is a much better steam wand than what it came with. It was fairly simple to replace the stock wand. The wand itself is stainless. The tip is removable and it has a little oring under it. Easy to clean. Should hold up for years to come.

Definitely worth the upgrade from the standard panarello wand the delonghi dedica has. just be aware that it is extremely difficult to install the ball joint of dedica on the Rancilio wand you'll need pliers and a lot of force to push it through, the ball joint will definitely be deformed a bit when doing this but as long as you can get it through it works.

Fits the Gaggia Classic perfectly and is a very nice upgrade both visually and functionally. A no brainer - can't figure out why Gaggia does not use something like this to begin with.

I love this wand, has really helped me make hotter and better micro-foam for my lattes and although my latte art skills still need improvement. I can no longer blame the equipment. I bought this as an upgrade for my Delonghi machine and it’s been amazing. But work of caution make sure to buy a set of really small hose clamps I forgot the size but it’s like 8mm tubing

The wand I received does not fit DeLonghi ECP3420 and is also not as depicted. The horizontal part goes slightly up and gets stuck under the housing when rotating the wand. This part looks straight in the picture, so this is not of the actual product I received. I think it may need to go down a little instead for a good fit, or at least be straight. That, or the part to connect the hose to is too short short. The ridge is also very thick, so it’s really hard to get the hose connected and also add an ear crimp. The rubber gasket for the nozzle also gets damaged when screwed/unscrewed. See pics. I had to return this item.

This wand works well as a Gaggia Classic upgrade. The install was quick and took under five minutes. No drilling or major effort needed, I just used a hammer to gently bend the old wand so the nut could come loose. After that, the replacement went on without any issues. Steam performance is noticeably better.

分解して取り付けるとの情報があったので購入を躊躇っていましたが覚悟を決めて購入しました。 思っていたより簡単に換装出来て純正より使いやすく交換して良かったです。 チップの継ぎ目から少し蒸気が漏れたので一応シールテープで巻いておきました

De momento he podido hacer la sustitución de la varilla sin problema y funciona muy bien. Tres orificios para que salga el vapor y sale con fuerza y equilibrado.
