SC Johnson Professional Windex Non-Ammoniated Glass/Multi Surface Cleaner, Fresh Scent, 32 oz Bottle, 8/Carton (322381)

None of my local stores carry this so I continue to order it here! I have enough now to last me probably two years. It smells great and does not burn my nose.

Ammonia free windex is required for the daily cleaning of my quartz counter tops. Couldn’t find it in the store so ordered online. Works great and arrived on time.

I use Windex for everything! Great clean and streak-free! The Ammonia Free Version has a great smell!!

For as far back as I can remember in my 58 years, Windex has always been there in the chore bucket......but one summer I found a use for it that's not listed on the bottle. It will kill ants of any breed on contact! To me this is a God send. 1. We have always had small dogs and the family will NOT use commercial spray poison. 2. If you have walked into some ants, do you really want to spray poison on yourself? 3. When you come a cross the little suckers, you want them gone ASAP, before the start biting everyone..... But were did you leave the poison last time you used it....????? Now my Windex, I always know where it is, I have bottles around the house tucked in cabinets so I don't have to move supplies from room to room. I am a little silly but this started as a child. I grab my Windex and start yelling "Die, you scurvy Ants!".... From the other room " That's "Dog, honey". " No, they're Ants, you want to call em dogs, come help me clean"...... Yeah, total silence, I go back to MY fun. Silly story aside, this works. Ants stop biting, curl up and die. It stop their path to their colony FOR A SHORT TIME. You want to really mess with them, get ground cinnamon, they lose their way completely. This is also why we have the custom of putting cloves and cinnamon at the entrance and exit of every new home you move into. Cheers. Mice hate cloves and flies abhors cinnamon. It will cling to a flies body and smother it since they breath through their bodies. Serious.

8 bottles of this ammonia free windex is going to last me forever so I’m glad we like it. I prefer ammonia free and we use this to clean our kitchen counters and honestly everything else in the kitchen as well. Cabinets, stove, fridge, sink, counters, the windows, it works on anything since it’s just a multipurpose cleaner. They spray easy and you’re able to coat a wide area at once, and also a little goes a long way. You can spray directly on the surface or spray it on a paper towel and then clean. I find it easier to spray on the surface and use a cloth to clean so you aren’t wasting power towels, but that’s just my personal preference. There isn’t really a smell (maybe very subtle) which is my favorite part because I’m not a fan of chemical fragrances. It’s not anything fancy but it’s good for a quick clean. As of getting it the price was at around $6 a bottle which is pricy compared to other comparable cleaners but some people prefer to only use name brand. I feel like there should be a little more of a discount since you’re buying in bulk. I do think this bundle would be good for a cleaning person, healthcare, or a school who goes through a lot of cleaning supplies in a year versus your average person looking for cleaners for their house.

This is great. Windex is a classic and I hate to admit it, but I use this stuff on a lot of surfaces. We're not talking My Big Fat Greek Wedding levels here, but I find a lot of uses. I'll spray this on a paper towel and rub it over my keyboard keys because it eliminates the accumulated oils. Of course it's exceptional on glass. It makes the kitchen surfaces glow. Great stuff. Ammonia has never bothered me that much, but it's not here and that's the big selling point with this product.

I use mostly all natural plant based cleaners around my home, but sometimes I need something stronger for when the mess won't move. When we bought our current house, there was 20 year old scotch tape stuck to the windows. I tried everything to clean it off, and finally gave up. I've been looking at tape stuck to the window for years. The tape is deteriorated but still sticky, so I couldn't just peel it off, and even scraping it with a razor blade left residue behind. I haven't used Windex in years and didn't know there was an ammonia free version, but this stuff is what you need if you hate looking at crud. One spray of this and fused-to-the-window tape practically melted away. I was able to gently scrub it off with a microfiber cloth and my thumbnail. My Grove glass cleaner is water compared to the cleaning power of this Windex. Inspired, I decided to try it on some stubborn cooked on I-have-no-idea stuck on my stove with similar results - I was able to scrub the crud from the stove with a stiff bristled brush. I'll continue to use plant based, plastic free cleaners for every day, but think I'm going to have to keep this in stock for messes that my plant based cleaners can't touch.
