Let’s start with those. Material: Yes, it’s thin but it’s silky and soft and feels delicate in a good way. Right out of the box and wrapping everything is totally wrinkled and concerning. But I ironed all the pieces, which was easy, and now it looks like the photo on the website. Color: Yes, it’s a bit of a surprise as it is not as ivory as shown a light grayish beige and lighter than I expected but it still works well for me.My review is five stars as the overall quality suits me just fine. It is a very romantic design and I wasn’t sure my husband would like it but the slightly grayish beige color he liked a lot - not so girly. It has interesting detail and is well designed; very unique. The pieces are, however, rather delicate so I would not let animals or children on it as I am sure it will pick and pull and destroy the delicate detail. I think the comforter should be positioned as it is in the photo for the best look.This is a good set if you desire something upscale and will take the time to iron it and use it delicately. Since I went with the size up, the bed skirt was too big, so I just ordered a different bed skirt.I was wanting a bedding set to complement my farmhouse bedroom. I found a lot of duvets that I liked but they were expensive and I didn’t want to spend that much money on just a duvet. I decided to try this one because I loved the color, it was a complete bedding set, and the price was great. When I received my comforter set I was actually quite surprised and pleased with the quality of it. It is very soft and well made. Give me all of the ruffled things lol. I wanted to wait a while before I left a review to see how it held up over time. It seems like the last few sets I’ve purchased have peeled after washing, do not fit whatsoever on our huge bed, the pillows are twin size, or the sets just aren’t everything they seem online. Not this one!! This one washes like a dream, comes with everything you need to have a full looking bed. That was my favorite thing.. I didn’t have to look for pillows to match, or anything. Everything you need comes right in the bag. I just added a throw pillow I had, and a blanket to the foot of the bed. & Voila. This set is THE most beautiful off white color. About it washing like a dream.. I just throw it right in my washing machine on delicate & it hasn’t failed me yet. My last one I had to have dry cleaned, and it drove me bonkers. I have to wash our bedding at the least every week, bc we have two Boston terriers who like to sleep with their humans, and I also have a boyfriend who works a very hard job that makes him super dirty. It’s hard finding bedding that will last through all of the weekly washings. This one comes out looking brand new every single time. Woot woot!!!* My bed is a king. Throw pillow, and blanket at the foot of the bed are also from amazon.
