Barr & Stroud 'Sprite Plus' 15x50 FMC WP Monocular

Great brightness level and powerful,steady, easy to usefocus when holding in hand. The weight is good for prolonged use even without a tripod and the image is steady for the most part obviously enhanced further with the use of a tripod( not supplied). I already had a cheap 16x52 labeled scope but this was much better quality in every respect with bright colorful images. Used at over 3km looking out to sea from hilltop inland and could clearly see waves cresting, seagulls entering and leaving field of view, plus could follow the birds with some careful tracking movement on my part. Very impressed so far but it's only day two so time will tell re optical integrity and seals etc although I feel confident will be good based on build quality.

I have purchased this monocular from another supplier but I have to say don't purchase this scope the image through the eyepiece looks cloudy and not at all clear.
