Nice Display
Works great if you buy the adapter for the board you are using as the controller. Good display to use to display multiple sensors, a calendars, or even news stories.

Had issues making it work. Busy pin has more than one signal mixed with it
I could clearly see the busy signal was intermixed with some internal board circuit. As a result the busy signal when it tried to go HI, it couldn't make it to a logic 1. Therefore the board always reports "always busy". Tried pull ups to assist it in moving to a high. Didn't work. Whatever is pulling it down is a strong signal and not simple crosstalk.Took me 2 months to troubleshoot it down to the hardware level as I assumed it was software.I see some people on github having similar issues.Used with both waveshare universal driver board and also the waveshare esp32 driver board. Same issue.Had to use hardware trickery to get around it. :(Nice board when it works.

Use with ESPHome and home assistant
3d printed a case, and with the ESP driver works well. Refresh isn’t super fast, takes a few flashes. But sits near coffee machine and gives me all my stats.

Couldn't Give this 5 Stars - Buyer Beware!
Let's first start by saying this looks exactly what I needed. I'm currently working on a boutique project to capture customers signatures. An e-ink display of this size would have been absolutely perfect. I started developing the interface application and grabbed this to finally test it out. The images showed the appearance of touch capability, and I thought it would have been just like my other touch displays I've purchased for my Raspberry Pis. Boy was I wrong. It's common for all of these displays to state that the raspberry pi is not included, and that's what I assumed what "no pcb" included meant. When I finally got to the point to assemble this project, the ribbon cable was not the same as my other touch panels. I did some research and found out there needs an entire driver board for this to work at all.I really wish this was clearer in the product description. So now I'm in a situation where I either have to find and grab the driver board separately, or scrap the project altogether. In theory, this could have been ideal and the only issue I should have had to worry about was a mounting interface. Buyer beware!
