Very effective if given the right space
I like everything about this product, and have one plugged in to every electrical socket around the house where there is space for the full range of the beam. I like the fact that it has three strengths according to the pest you need to repel, but I only ever use the lowest because I have two dogs, and the higher signals are distressing to larger mammals or other pets. I think it would be very cruel to use this device on even the medium setting if you keep any kind of mammal or rodent, as it interferes with their nervous system.I only need to repel spiders, and this device does seem to really help with that. We have also avoided ants in the house so far, despite being swamped with them outside. It is so easy to set up, and looks quite smart in the wall. Also, the lights are small and do not disturb at night.

Simple and Effective
Living in the country as we do, pretty much every year we are plagued with mice in the loft of our cottage once the wet / cold weather arrives. Their scurrying around can sometimes make it difficult to sleep. Traps help (but are not pleasant), and whilst poison bait is one solution, it takes time to take effect. Much better is to deter the mice in the first place, hence the purchase of this unit. It is simple to install - just plug it in and press the selector button to choose the 'strength' of the sonic deterrent. I chose the middle option which is signified by a blue light (and is silent to the human ear). Then just leave it to do its job. Since installation, the loft area has been quiet, so fingers crossed the unit is proving its worth. So far we are very happy with our purchase.

Still too early to tell
We moved into a new property which has both an annex and a garage. Of course both have filled up and the last thing we need/want is some family of rodents settling in, so bought one of these. I was going to buy one for both the annex and the garage, as well as the attic as it so happens but before I invest any more money I want to make sure it does the job. So far, the device it’s self is well constructed and easy to use - plug it in and press the singly available button on the top front to cycle through the 3 frequencies available. The frequency used to expel/repel larger vermin like rats and mice is the highest, which as the instructions state should not be used around living spaces, and for good reason, it’s audible and quite irritating. If it annoys my ears I’m sure it’ll do the job with theirs.

Great product
The product looks very well made and the instructions very straightforward to follow. I very quickly plugged in the product, set it as required on its medium setting and left it to do its work. We were having problems with mice entering our garage so this is where we placed it. It's early days still, but we have seen no evidence of mice since using the device. Hopefully this will continue.

Dont waste your money, buy a mouse trap or two, follow my advice!
Easy, we thought repelled mice on maximum setting. So we bought one of the Aribo Ultrasonic pest repeller last year and the mouse season started again this year with the cold weather. We always have the repeller (on red as well because they stayed until we went to maximum setting. The mice came back - this time they hung around so rather naively we bought another one. To our dismay they are still in our house so I did some research. Many many YouTube videos show many brands of sonic repellers with footage of them merrily muting away right next to (many) sonic repellers. I concluded that this product and others like t are a complete waste of money. Money better spent on - mouse traps! Yes, get mouse traps, so use vinyl gloves to avoid the human smell being left on them and leave them for a few days unarmed so they get casual about the food stations until one night they are caught!I have since caught my mice and put the sonic repellers where they belong - in the dustbin. Avoid buying these - they are garbage. Use poison, glue traps and mechanical traps. Any pest removal company would do the same, after all, have you ever heard of them recommending/using this option? Complete con, Scotch mist. Avoid. Save your money, no, buy some mouse traps and use something they love - peanut butter then kill the brutes. Cheaper than this gimmicky product anyway! The company sent me an email asking if I liked the product with the promise of £10 voucher for this site. I sent them the above review and replied, begging me to take this review down, if I did so, they would refund me. This is disgraceful.
