Good as an "artsy" clock but has flaws
EDIT: This listing has changed. My review is for a clock, not a wall plate hanger or a doormat or whatever this is today. Don't support people who hijack well-reviewed listings for different products. We bought this clock to bring a splash of color to our all-white bathroom, and to be able to see the time from the shower. For these purposes it's fine. It's really big, and light enough I could install it on a command-strip mounted plastic hook on the porcelain tile (had to break off a bit of the plastic in the back). The glass front fogs a little bit only if we don't use the vent fan, but not bad enough to make in unreadable. Here's the "flaws" I've noted:1. Legibility isn't awesome. The white numerals are hard to see in the lighter areas (especially the yellow) and the black hands are hard to see in the darker areas (like the purple).2. It's not silent, or even very quiet. True, it doesn't tick, but it makes a constant whir or buzz. Admittedly I have it in a fairly small, sometimes very quiet, room.3. The stated purpose of the color panels - i.e. to help kids learning to tell time - is not well thought out. We aren't using it for this purpose, but I've tried to imagine it. Their concept is that you can tell your kid to mark time by the progression of one of the hands through the different colors. The problem is the colors are too similar. There's three or four you might call "orange" and a couple reds and three purples, but no green... So I'd have to say, "work on your homework until the big hand reaches the orange... not the bright orange but the kinda reddish-orange one... but not the dark reddish-orange one..." The color scheme they chose might even make sense if it were in "quadrants," like if the 12:00-3:00 hours were all shades of green, for example, but it doesn't even work out like that. It's just weird. So for "education" I'd have to suggest something else. I asked my 7-year-old and he said he'd want a clock with the 5-minute increments marked (5,10,15 etc). And I'd definitely avoid it for a quiet bedroom as the noise might drive you nuts. But as an "objet d'art" I rather like it. So, four stars from me.

Really big
This clock is huge! Because of the size I was unable to hang it where I had planned to and it was going to cost me $17 to ship it back and I only paid $19 for the clock!

Great tool to teach the concept of time
We are teaching our sons how to tell time. I love how I can let them know they have 10 more minutes- which is when the “big hand” gets to the orange color. It is vivid and easy to see across the room.

Not Durable
It was cute but my kids broke the glass before I could hang it up.
