Had it for a few months now and she’s still going strong. Many other cheaper filters I’ve tried are generally rubbish but this one was a good find so I’ll give myself a pat on the back for that. I’m lazy so don’t clean it as often as I should but even so it doesn’t stutter on keeping the tank nice and clear and runs 100%. I did find the nozzle with the holes that give the waterfall effect is easily clogged with food debris and can be difficult to clean. I’ve had no issue with the straight nozzle however. Cable is a good length and the power in the water flow is great. It’s easy to put together and generally easy to clean as well as great value for money. Highly recommend.

This is a good piece of equipment which can be used in several ways. I’ve bought a twelve litre tank to house two little guppies who are the last of their shoal and where their original tank failed ( not mine-I’ve adopted them!). At first I thought the filter was too strong, because the guppies couldn’t swim against the filter’s output. However I adjusted it and used a little overhead waterfall function and the guppies now seem very happy. I’ve never had fish before, so I didn’t really know what I was buying, but this filter fits the bill well. Easy to put in place.

This filter is very good, it's small but powerful. The size of it fits perfect in my 16L tank, it's quiet and doesn't make much noise at all which I like as it doesn't disturb me too much. The most noise it makes is a really quiet humming background noise but barely noticeable.The only negative thing is that it is very powerful so it moves my sand substrate around a lot, to avoid this I have placed my filter horizontally in my tank and now it is completely fine. The filter itself has suction cups and they are very strong when stuck to the glass, doesn't move at all.It's very easy to set up and install. Another good thing is that this filter comes with a filter sponge so I didn't need to buy that separately.

Works really well

Used in a temporary hospital tank for a Blackmoor with swim bladder disorder that is usually in our pond. I found it best to use with the tube attached and hanging out over the edge of the tank, with the twist open part only slightly open on the end of the tube. This gave sufficient gentle bubbles and the aeration level fine. The rain fall was too strong for the size of the tank and our fish was v poorly. It attaches well to the tank and although of course audible it's not overly loud. It's a good price. I found it simple after watching the video. Pleased to report the fish is now upright, swimming, diving down and much happier. After First Aid Aquarium salt, Epsom salts, de shelled peas and 60% water changes daily. He is now having normal food. I have turned the bubbler up and hope to be putting him back in the pond in a week or so.

I am sure it is a good filter but I bought it after researching one for my Betta fish and its fins kept getting trapped in this one so I had to remove it. Luckily it has survived.

Filter is working perfectly well and so is good value for money. It was easy to install and the water flow is effective.

Stopped pushing water and filter them after a few weeks.Now, it's just making noise.
