I purchased this after starting a quest to replace shower gels. I've used Nivea for men for years but of late the large bottles have been priced more per ml than the small ones and it seemed watered down and didn't feel like it left you clean. I tried Sanex but that was equally watered down and had even more plastic in the packaging. I looked at the Dr brand and the bear bars but couldn't justify £10 for a bar of soap. That and the fragrances for me were very over the top. I looked here and found the eco bar had great reviews, a fair price and environmentally friendly packaging, not to mention a spare bar in the cupboard took up a lot less room. In use the soap is excellent. I was very pleasantly surprised at the scent, lather and it leaves you feeling clean as a whistle. It's an absolute relief to find a product which is fair in price, perfectly well described and does exactly what it says it does. Long story short, this is an excellent, responsible and overperforming product which im really happy I gave a go!

Good size, lathers well and good smell but didn't last very long.

It’s been nearly 2 years now since I’ve purchased a bottled soap or shampoo. Switch to bars is something I’ve consciously done to reduce the amount of plastic I throw away. Now all bars are different : - smell nicer than others - some feel better on my skin - some last longer than others - some a significantly more pricey than others I originally purchased one of these bars for somebody else who gave it a big thumbs up. When it arrived I notice the fragrance seeping from the box and for me it was pleasant aroma. So, after the positive feedback I was given about the bar, I thought I’d try one myself. Shopping around I can get maybe 4 bars of Dove cream soap for about the same price as one of these bars which lather up nicely and leave my skin feeling clean. However, the Eco Warrior bar smells so much nicer and, I don’t know how many Dove bars I’d use vs the Eco Warrior bars, but the Exo Warrior bar definitely lasts longer than the Dove one. The Eco Warrior bar also leaves my skin feeling just as clean, if not cleaner, without so much lathering up. 4 Dove bars for this price might be a little bit more financially economical, but with Subscribe and Save the Eco Warrior bar makes it cheaper… and I really like the soap… and when you compare the price of it to the some of the other brands out there, it suddenly doesn’t seem expensive at all.

I bought this as part of my plan to minimise my use of plastics and unnecessary water. Here are my thoughts after a whole bar: Appearance - A rectangular bar that’s easy to hold and is neutral in colour. Mine had the branding stamped on one side. It’s 100g, so good for home and travel. Function - The bar lathers well under warm water and doesn’t break easily. The lather is deceptively good so you might find the bar shrinks faster than you’d expect. Less is more at times. I used it on my body, as I bought a different one for my hair, but could use in both cases. Smell - The notes of birch tar, cedarwood and patchouli are really pleasant. The patchouli stands out the most to me. It’s most noticeable in the shower and subtle afterwards, but I’ve had unsolicited compliments from people that I’ve hugged. Skin - The product claims to be free of harsh ingredients like SLS, detergents etc. My skin was noticeably less dry after showering when compared to using my previous liquid shower gel. Compared to liquid soaps, you do need to get used to the slight stickiness that bars can leave on your skin. It’s not noticeable after a few uses, though. Used alone, it was gentle on my skin. Combined with a loofah/soap saver, my skin felt softer than ever. Longevity - I use a soap saver and I’d say this lasted me about a month, having 1-2 showers a day max. It lathers deceptively well so it could last longer with more care. Comparison - This bar is great value for money if you like a premium smell and a gentle composition. I’m going to try the cheaper options from this brand and compare, as they all tout “natural” ingredients with similar effects on skin. Overall - I really enjoyed using this bar soap and would happily buy again.

Great product and I use it to wash my hair. It’s cheaper than buying shampoo and it’s an all over use soap.

The eco credentials of the is soap are great. The price is great. The smell is great. That fact that it’s an all-in-one is great. What’s not great is that it really doesn’t last very long at all.

This natural soap is at the lower end of the price range, however, it performs big! The regular sized bars lather up well, the fragrance is pleasant and overall the bars wear out at a similar pace to mass produced soap. I would purchase again.

Product Smells Really Good! My partner will smell great after using this.
