In my view this is an excellent product. Really robust and capable of supporting a pretty heavy light plus beauty box or similar. The tripod footprint is large giving it really good stability. the clamps are solid and positive making adjustment easy. Overall I am very impressed with the build quality and functionality.

Incredibly well put together, massive light stand! Very heavy duty, nice, solid, wide base / stance, reaches new heights, literally... I was actually looking for matte black stands which wouldn't show up too much in photos but couldn't pass these over at the price. Very pleased. If you don't mind a bit of weight, or if you have a strong 2nd shooter, you'll be delighted with these!

You have to wrestle with it when expanding and folding the stand. It’s not smooth. Not great build quality and difficult to use. Other than that it serves its purpose but it could have been a little cheaper.

While the SUPON Stainless Steel Light Stand initially appears promising, it has some significant flaws. The build quality feels flimsy, and the locking mechanism is not as secure as advertised. The spring-loaded design, intended to protect equipment, often fails to cushion the impact, risking damage to your lights. Additionally, the stand can be quite wobbly, even with lighter equipment. I would advise against purchasing this product and recommend exploring more reliable options from other brands.

The stand is nice and sturdy, nicely weighted and excellent quality. I will be buying another soon.

Worth having if you want to upgrade to another level.

Had this for a year and still encountering the same problem. It’s fine once it’s set up but the stand constantly gets stuck in the middle of being opened and closed when trying to setup and pack down. All my lighting assistants have had problems with it, injuries because of it. I’m writing this because I have now got a bruise on my wrist and a large cut from trying to pack it down.
