Value 4-Pack, Polarized Handy (Light Bulb Socket) Outlet, Black - 4-Units

The switch at the top of my 85 year old basement stairs only controls one bulb, then I had to walk around and pull chains on the other bulbs. I screwed this convertor into that socket then plugged in and daisy-chained cheap led 4 ft shop lights into it to light half my basement with the switch. Works awesomely. I used two others in two small storage rooms built into the basement and plugged a 4 ft light into them, too. Those are still controlled by a pull chain and they work great in that application, too.

These are exactly what I needed! I was stressed out thinking I needed to get an electrician to put in outlets in our unfinished basement to use our new LED shop lights. Thank goodness for these converters because it turned a pricy job into a five minute DIY.

I like how low profile these are which is nice. Also some people want the one's with the plug and the light socket, but in my opinion it's best not to do that so you don't overload the fixture.They seem somewhat cheap but they work so I'm satisfied.

I converted the lights in my garage to 4 ft. LED style shop lights that come with a plug. Using these I didn't have to do any wiring.

Works great for my basement lighting upgrade.
