Thirteen Chefs 18x12 White Cutting Board for Kitchen, 1/2" Thick Plastic

Its the perfect cutting board. Dishwasher friendly. Slim enough to store wherever you want. Big enough to eliminate the extra gestures needed to dump handfuls of cut food into a separate bowl or plate. Stable during use - but only after increasing friction through regular use to rough up the surface (it did slide around a little when brand new because it was so smooth). Washes by hand easily. Doesn't punish me for not washing it immediately like wood or bamboo. Tolerates water better than wood or bamboo. Tolerates heat better than other, inferior plastics. I love to cook but I'm all about efficiency, reducing barriers to cooking (mental and physical), cutting back on dishes, and limiting sensory chaos on my limited counter space - this checks all those boxes. If you're as dish-averse as me, or living in a very dish-averse household like me, hear my story: cute, sturdy bamboo or wood cutting boards don't work for us. They become biohazards that get left out or in the sink to absorb water and eventually mold and stain over time. I almost bought another cheap set of plastic cutting boards - you know, the ones that slide around stupidly on the counter while you're wielding sharp objects, that if not placed in the perfect spot in the dishwasher will tip over and block the spinner, and that eventually warp due to lack of heat resistance. I'm a strong believer that your dishes should work for you - not the other way around!

Perfect cutting board. I know the purple is for allergies, but for us purple is just pretty. I was so tired of the thin plastic cutting boards that curl. This is perfectly flat. It goes into the dishwasher and comes out still flat. It is rugged to stand up to my knives, yet it protects them as well. I use it every day. It stays put on the counter.

This cutting board is very large in size and unfortunately cannot be placed in my dishwasher, the only way it can fit is if I lay it across the rack and do not have any dishes in there with it. It does not slide on the countertop and it does not hold the odors of the food that you have placed on the board. I wish that it came in other colors besides white and they had it in a smaller size. It does not appear to dullen my knives but my knives are very sharp and they have cut grooves into the board, but not too deep. I chose this board because it was NSF Certified. I can say I like this board just wish is was a tad smaller.

These are great cutting boards and I like them. I ordered two for our island. The only thing we had to do is order a black silicone mat to go under them because they will slide around on a granite countertop. The silicone mat fixes the problem.

Love these boards. At this size, they are perfect for most jobs but still fit in my dishwasher and sink for easy cleaning. Nice and sturdy too for when I need to pound out meat. Great price too and appreciate that they are NSF certified.

Nice cutting board.

Good for a rental property (as well as at home) because it makes it very clear that a cutting board has been provided to protect the kitchen counters. It is easy to sanitize, and works well as a cutting board or simply a spot to land warm (probably not hot) pots and pans on the counter. I've had a similar one for decades, and it has not warped yet.

I bought this red NSF board for meat but was surprised it is thinner than the white NSF board I own and love as it is textured and doesn’t leave knife marks. This red board leaves knife marks but I love it as it is much better than what I could find on the net. I would collect all board colors by NSF to be safe in food preparation. They are the best chef’s boards available. It is sturdy and easy to clean. It is thinner and I put shelf liner under it and it doesn’t move when cutting meat. I highly recommend it. It is well worth the money.

Das Schneidebrett sieht in Schwarz sehr gut aus und macht durch seine Dicke auch einen recht robusten Eindruck. Nur leider irgendwie nicht zum schneiden geeignet. Nach zweimaliger Nutzung um Gemüse oder Obst zu schneiden ist offensichtlich jeder einzelne Schnitt im Brett zu sehen. Teilweise sehr tief und leider auch mit kleinen kernigen Ablösungen. Von einem „Schneidebrett“ hab ich mehr erwartet! Wie sieht das Brett aus, sollte ich mal mit richtig scharfen Messern schneiden? 🤔

I now have 2 of these in different sizes, a large one for making big meals and a smaller one for cutting meat and the likes on. I find them really easy to clean as well as being very sturdy. They seem a lot thicker than other plastic chopping boards I've used.
