Not as peppery as some high quality Olive oils
Good quality, not as peppery as I thought it would be, Iโve had other brands that really did leave a peppery taste at the back of your throat

I have never had really good olive oil. I've read of the "peppery" taste, and thought I had tasted it, but no.. the first taste of this is smooth and buttery. But after swallowing, wow, be careful. Both my husband and I coughed quite a bit. I do not mind even though I wanted to take it "medicinally"-- that is OUT. Instead, I used with a tomato based veggie medley and the sharp taste was gone. Extremely pleased with the product. It feel like my first authentic olive oil, with a green taste that is not overwhelming, and a very fresh taste. Totally new. Totally interesting.
