Review: The book should be every woman's BIBLE - A magnificant book, which worth more then a college degree. I loved reading this book. It tells you that you as a pretty woman can rule the universe. But it also tells you that don't expect that things happen by luck or by accident. You got to know how and where to use your beauty and you got to APPLY the strategies revealed in the book. Some parts are cruel and some parts are funny and some parts are seriously cruel and incredibly funny at the same time. I read this book about six weeks ago and applying the knowledge already brought wonderful things in my life. Girls, don't forget the key is to TAKE ACTION. Without ACTION the book itself won't change your life. Without dressing feminine and going out to the right parties and the right places you are not going to meet the men of your dream. It won't work for everyone
The book present some good strategies, but some of the suggestions are plain ridiculous: taking speed to stay thin is plain stupid, it made me wonder if this is a satire of golddigging books. Better buy the Ginie Sayles "how to marry the rich", her book is more comprehensive than this one and goes into more depths about the different types of rich man and how to appeal to them, and good tips on how to "blend in" and avoiding social faux-pas, which is good if you're looking for a potential business partner instead of a potential mate. One more thing, whichever book you chose to buy, remember this: Only a youthful, good-looking and thin white woman has a good chance to bag a wealthy husband and marry well above her station. For plain janes and women of color, it's really a crapshoot (ok maybe a few asian women can beat the odds, but exceptions do not make the rule). Gold digging is not a color blind activity, and wealthy men are just like other men, they are not really interested in your "inner beauty".

Crass and Kinda Dumb but Entertaining
I don't think that it works, but most things don't do they? But fun, nonetheless. Thanks seller!

A very shallow book
I saw this book at the book store and because of the title I was curious and read several chapters. I did not buy this book. I think this book's title is incorrect. A better title for this book would be "How to destroy your marriage and get a divorce". After reading about 2 chapters, I decided not only was this book a waste of time, but I was also bothered by what this book was promoting. I am a multi-millionaire, and single, so perhaps my reasons for reading this book are different than the typical reader. I guess what bothers me about this book is the whole focus on money and it misses out on true meaning of love and marriage. In particular the book had several chapters on really dumb ideas such as ways to frame your spouse and set them up so that when you go to get a divorce you can try to make them look bad in court in the hopes of getting more money when you get a divorce. It talks about how to avoid having to sign a prenup, how to get out of your responsibilities, etc. In fact some of the dumb ideas they promote won't even work from a legal standpoint in most divorce courts because of no-fault divorce laws. So not only are their ideas insensitive and cruel, they don't even serve any purpose other than giving you ideas on how to hurt your spouse or destroy your marriage. The ideas they offer will also help you have a more bitter divorce that will result in more legal fees for your divorce attorneys (and less money for you). I can assure you that if I was dating someone and they pulled some of the stunts suggested by this book, then our relationship would end and there would never be a marriage. Marriage should be about love, respect, commitment. This book seems to think that marriage is mainly a way for somebody to use another person, become rich, and then get a divorce. Having a lot of money won't make up for what you lose if you decide to live your life like a lie. This book has no real value and does not serve much purpose other than showing you how to sabatoge your life and the people who are in it. If you buy this book, you are wasting your money and time. You are also giving money to authors who really don't deserve to make money. In a way I feel it is unethical to give financial support to people like the authors of this book. You vote with your dollars and what you choose to buy and read also says a lot about who you are. If you really feel like this is a book you want, then just read it at the bookstore and after about 2 chapters you will realize you probably don't want to waste your time or money on this book.

It's All Relative
Sounds like an interesting, if not beneficial, read. Women are genetically wired to seek a worthy partner who can provide for her safety and basic needs, at a minimum. More specifically, her survival instinct or gut feeling promoted the primitive understanding that a mate skilled at provision would maximize the chance her that her future offspring would survive to maturity, a legitimate concern back then. So, the desire for a productive, decent man is nothing to feel ashamed or guilty of. You are simply designed that way, albeit involuntarily. And let's be honest, there are frankly slim pickings in the real world when it comes to civilized, desirable, available, genuinely charming gentlemen. The alternative pool of contenders could well be of the last resort or mercy date pool. You are obviously far more likely to meet a man of preferable caliber when you spend time at polo matches and affluent charity soirees, rather than when you hang at the bowling alley, local pub or rock concert. This is not an endorsement for elitist dating, it's just a fact of life. Accordingly, the smart woman will settle for nothing less than real love w/ an honorable man, the wealth just represents the security she deserves; it is side gravy to a happy and lasting relationship. In case clarification is necessary, desiring a successful financially able contender for your love and devotion is the polar opposite of the bourgeois racket called gold digging. So I intend to buy this intriguing book and hopefully learn something from it that will ultimately invite and enhance a cherished relationship.

I hope they're kidding!
I just bought this book because I am in the market for a rich husband (only kidding a little). This book must be a joke because, if not, it is positively frightening. I have no illusions about gold-digging...it is ugly, cutthroat business (much like Manhattan real estate), however, their advice is often silly (the diet is absurd) and, if you took it at face value, you would likely end up, not with a rich husband, but with a one-way ticket to either rehab, a mental hospital or the poor house (or all three). However, it is probably to most expansive book on Gold Digging that is currently out there (however, I have not read Sayles book yet, so hers may be better). However, had I known that I was too long in the tooth to be a gold-digger, I wouldn't have spent the money (i.e. if you are over 30, forget about it). Too bad for me, but good luck to all of you. Perhaps I'll see you in and around NYC (at a benefit, perhaps)!

Was this book a Joke?
This book, if it was meant to be serious, was without a doubt the biggest load of crap I have ever come across. Honestly, encouraging women to become addicted to speed in order to stay thin??? What is going on with the world?? I really hope that no young and impressionable girls read this and take it to be truth. On the other hand if this book was supposed to be a joke, then it is hilarious!
