Kenko Opera Glass Pliant 3x25 Slim Silver

Got it for watching a broadway show from balcony and could possible to see a the beautiful details of the stage and clothes design . I have rented the traditional metal opera binoculars from the the theatre before and even though this one does not feel as sturdy , it's light weight is a good thing because it is easier to hold for longer periods and would not tire your arms as the metal ones do.

As per some other buyers' reviews, yes, these weeny binoculars seem cheap for the money, are fragile-ish, and light-weight plastic of some sort (ie, not at all "hardy"). BUT . . . they were exactly what I wanted and needed. I have a set of huge, 3-ton binoculars that may help me see an owl on a high tree branch, but do absolutely nothing in the 5 or so feet between me and my somewhat small TV (by today's standards). Because the TV is smallish and my vision has gotten blurry-ish, I can't read small print on the tube and haven't figured out how to enlarge it. I've scoured sites for the right product and this alone fit the bill, aside from concerns of its quality. As far as hardiness, I wouldn't carry this in my purse or a pocket for fear it would break, but it behaves well sitting on the table next to my TV chair till I need it. When I do, it's a little awkward because to see the small print real clearly I also need to keep my glasses on - but together they clear up the small print very well.

Ok quality. A bit flimsy but does the job and is light weight. Took a little time to arrive.

It is good, worked just fine.
