- Siloxa-Tek 8500 is a water-based, silane/siloxane engineered to reduce water and moisture intrusion. Will not change the aesthetics, leaving your concrete, pavers, brick and stone with its original natural appearance. This low VOC formula is 100% breathable and non film forming (meaning it will never peel flake or delaminate).
- Siloxa-Tek 8500 is D.O.T (Department of Transportation) approved and resists surface damage caused by chlorides and deicing salts. It mitigates cracking, spalling and pitting and protects against surface degradation from freeze thaw damage.
- Siloxa-Tek 8500 is a supercharged penetrating sealer with 6x higher actives than any other water based concrete sealer on the market for long lasting protection that actually last. Resists wind driven rain.
- Siloxa-Tek 8500 is a commercial grade, impregnating sealer for commercial and residential applications. Its high actives formula is UV stable and will not break down from direct sunlight. **Q: Will this cause my pavers to get darker after application compared to no treatment?**
A: The 8500 does not darken the pavers once it dried.

**Q: If I mix this stronger (with less water) would it work better?**
A: Not sure, but what I can tell you is this stuff works great when you mix it exactly how it says to on the bottle. Water beads up and runs off my porch, sidewalk, and steps like rain runs off the body of a freshly waxed car. Water doesn't soak into the concrete anymore like it did before I applied Siloxa-Tek 8500. It beads up and runs off, or, sits there until it evaporates. Anyway, why would you want to mix it stronger (more Siloxa-Tek and less water)? It's already expensive enough mixing it as recommended!!

**Q: If only half is used, how long is the remaining half good for?**
A: It depends on how it is stored

**Q: Can a driveway treated with siloxa-tek 8500 be resurfaced later using a cement resurfacing product (rapid set new crete)?**
A: Why waste your time and money treating a surface you plan to repair. Do it right. Fix the surface then seal it
