Strength and reliable zip ties
These Zip Ties are exactly what I needed. The strength is impressive for 4-inch tiesโthey hold securely without slipping or snapping. With 1,000 pieces, the capacity is more than enough for home, garage, and craft projects. The quality is consistent across the pack, and none feel brittle or weak. I also like how easy they are to organize; the packaging makes storage simple and keeps everything neat and accessible. Overall, this is a great bulk purchase with excellent performance and value. I would definitely buy these zip ties again.

Use for so many things around the house
Once you purchased these, you'll wonder how you ever got by without them. I use them for hanging wreaths, closing holiday decorations bags, affixing lights to decorations, etc. Light to mid-grade use. Not for affixing or hanging real heavy materials. Locking teeth work well, sometimes you'll get a dud, but not many. Secure. Reasonable price for the quantity. If one isn't long enough hook a few together.

VERY thin, but good for my purposes
These are decent for what they are, but are VERY thin and therefore not very strong. I do think the 18lbs of tensile strength is probably about right for bundling cables, but it VERY low. To give a comparison your average male has about 100lbs of pressure in his grip, and the average female has about 60lbs of pressure in her grip. This means if you can't press the cables or whatever tight enough within your hand, you are NOT going to be able to pull out a pair of pliers and pull the zip tie tighter it work with these zip ties. I have done that with other zip ties. When I ordered these I had a hard time trying to figure out what size I needed. Now that I have them, I wanted to give someone else a rough guide for figuring out how to size these. I have about average sized male hands. If I take a group of cables and wrap it in my hand like I'm grabbing a pole, an 8" zip tie goes around about the same amount of cables that I can close one hand around with my fingers almost touching. The closer my finger tips are together the easier it goes around and pulls tight, and if there is more than a 1" space from my thumb to my other fingers it is pretty much impossible to close the zip tie even though somewhere around that spacing the end theoretically goes in. FYI, I did not purchase these 8" zip ties, just the 4" and 6"; but I had other 8" zip ties I used with this project. Those zip ties were considerably stronger and thicker than these. I found the 4" zip tie to be a good size to go around a 3' Ethernet cable bundled in 6" height loops, as shown in the picture. I could probably have gotten another 1' of cable length and still easily wrapped it in the same manner. Anything beyond that I would have been starting to push it. The 6" zip tie went around a 9' Ethernet cable packaged in the same manner. I believe I could have gotten easily gotten up to 2'-3' more in this zip tie packaged in the same way, but I didn't have any cables of that length. Anything beyond that I'd have to specifically test to know.

Zip Ties for any project
Since I make a lot of wreaths, I have to secure them with reliable, durable zip ties. These zip ties work great and there are so many sizes and variety of lengths and colors. One thing that impresses me is how easy they stay locked which is important with my projects !

Easy to use
Needed to attach fabric fencing fabric to chain link fencing. Easy use especially with the hand held gun that tightens and snips off excess. Note: in extreme wind gusts like we had in arizona this week, a few of the.zip ties snapped. Easy enough to replace, but better to know it's a possibility up front.

decent bulk-quantity zip ties
I maintain an ultra-portable solar setup and it requires around 100 wire ties per event set-up, so I was looking for a better deal on short-term single-use wire ties. These get the job done, and they're pretty inexpensive. I found I need to give them a little tug test after zipping them down though because maybe 1 in 70 won't engage when you feed the end through. Not a big deal, I don't need perfection from them all. They're pretty thin though, so don't put a lot of weight on them or they will break. So these are perfectly suited to my task - they're good enough and very low cost.
