I bought this product for my daughter who has really bad PMDD to try out. Every month for an entire week it is so bad that i literally tell her to get out of the house, we can not live with her during that time. I know that she is not acting that way on purpose because she is the most lovable person the rest of the month, but she goes nuts. Her dr has tried bc, shes changed her diet and meditates etc. Nothing has helped, so after i researched and started to hear over & over about seratonin levels i told her to try this product before the harsh medicine her dr wanted to put her on as the next step. My mom & 1 of my sisters has a mental disorder so we are always hesitant to take anything that may mess with our heads. After two weeks my mood was greatly improved. I went off it for a few weeks and started feeling down again, then went back on it and had the same experience a second time. I've been on it for months now consistently, and my mood has been up the entire way. I only take half the recommended dose (one time daily) so this lasts me two months. Only other thing I want to mention is that it has a soporific effect, so take it in the evening. I was taking a dose earlier in the day and was feeling noticeably sleepy afterward.
