Pure Evoke Spot DAB+/FM/Internet Radio Wi-Fi Bluetooth Compact Hi-Fi System, Cotton White, 476399

Kitchen radios aren't something you buy that often. Our old one gave up the ghost after 15 years. So I wanted something that would be a radio and a bluetooth speaker - I was always slightly irritated by having a speaker sat on top of the radio. Following extensive research, this seemed to be the best compromise. And it's very good. Firstly, it's small. It doesn't take up much counter space. Secondly, I like how it looks. Radios are a rare example where retro stylings are still the thing. Most radios look like my gran's radio did. This one doesn't. My wife and I both like how it looks, but my teenage daughter hates it. Set up is a doddle. There is a small flip up screen that lets you choose mode and navigate and set favourites. You can use as Bluetooth speaker, but it's also got Spotify Connect, which is BRILLIANT. The most common cry in our house used to be "CAN YOU DISCONNECT FROM THE KITCHEN SPEAKER?" With Spotify Connect the person who's nearby can just use it. That works really, really well. That said, the bluetooth reception is also very good. Some other radios reportedly sound worse with connected via Bluetooth - this does that very well. The sound is good too. It's perhaps a little bit bass heavy, but we have an open plan kitchen diner, and it easily fills the space with good quality sound. There's no distortion at higher volumes and whilst you'd not use it in a nightclub, it's plenty. So, overall, this is good vfm, sounds good and looks good. I'm very pleased with it

Good sounding radio but had to turn the bass right down in the settings as it's too boomy otherwise. Nice to be able to use the Undok app on your phone. Connecting to home network was a bit of a palaver but got there in the end. Looks attractive on the bedside table. I think it's good value given the features.

Very pleased with my Pure Evoke Spot. Good sound quality and not so difficult to set up as some reviewers have suggested. Eespecially njoying the bluetooth option with my phone for Spotify and BBC Sounds.

This Pure Evoke Spot is a brilliant and compact audio unit, positioned in a bedroom where dab+ reception is poor, so bought for the internet radio feature. Easy to use controls, easy to set up, (including wifi), ideal compact size and unobtrusive appearance. Great sound. The UNDOCK app works seamlessly with all important features, so no need for a separate remote,

Web pre-sets are easy to use and very steady. The screen makes tuning a pleasure. My only complaint is that raising the volume almost always results in distortion. Fine for a bedroom or small study, but not good enough for an open plan kitchen diner. A very neat little machine which needs some refinement of sound controls.

What a great lovely DAB+ Radio, small Footprint great for when you have a busy kitchen. Display is very good and clear. Bluetooth sends over images and shows what’s playing on the evoke screen. Just a note on radio favourite storing - find the station - select the station - press the heart butting and then choose the number slot and it’s done. I kept pressing the heart and expecting it then to store. You have to select the station first not just find it from the list. Great sound and it looks fab toesy

Nice little speaker,it was working well until I had to move it,after this all that happens is the white screen of death,customer service told me its faulty and contact seller but unfortunately its out of warranty.so that's it..

Excellent radio, easy to set up. Lovely bassie sound which I like. Arrived quickly.

Brilliant little internet radio! Connection and set up is easy. I've used it primarily for the internet radio, and there are thousands of station from all around the world to choose from. Choose via country, genre of music etc etc. The save function is very helpful and easy to use so you don't have to go searching for your favorite stations. The system is compact which means it good for all rooms and doesn't take up a lot of space. The sounds is far better than I expected, the bass is good and the clarity is on point. You can play with the equalizer to adjust levels if you feel you needed to. Let's be realistic, it's a 20W speaker so don't expect the liquid in your glass to vibrate, but you could happy host a gathering using it if you weren't expecting it to evolve to a club scene. This is the smallest speaker in the Pure Evoke range and I would definitely consider the 40W or 100W version in the future.

Uitstekende alleskunner met een razend goed geluiden eindeloze mogelijkheden. Het design is uit de kunst. Enige opmerking bij een wit apparaat hoort ook een wit snoer te zitten en niet zwart.

De internetverbinding was zeer eenvoudig in te stellen. Binnen de 5 minuten na het uitpakken was het apparaat ingesteld. Internetradio werkt stabiel en eenvoudig. Spotify Connect zoals te verwachten is. De Undok app heeft mij positief verrast (jammer dat het niet met alle merken internetradios werkt). Het geluid is niet slecht maar valt wel tegen, voor de prijs is dit misschien wel te verwachten. Het heeft een enigzins doffe klank, helaas kan de ingebouwde equalizer deze niet volledig opkrikken.

Il y a également 2 alarmes et une fonction sommeil. * Les Plus : - Design compact et minimaliste - Ecran couleur et contrôle assez aisé de l'appareil - Contrôle à distance possible depuis un smartphone avec l'application Undok - Très bonne sortie audio (haut-parleur mono 20W) * Les Moins : - Prix de référence élevé (environ 199 € - Je l'ai acheté moins cher d'occasion sur Amazon Warehouse) - On pourrait regretter l'absence de certains connecteurs : sortie casque, entrée AUX… - Pas de batterie pour avoir un système nomade. * Ce que j’en pense : C'est un appareil qui fait très bien son taff pour écouter diverses sources audios avec un très bon son. Je l'utilise pour écouter la radio DAB et FM et aussi pour mes musiques depuis mon smartphone (Amazon Music et chansons stockées en local sur le smartphone). Je compte également m'en servir pour suivre des séries podcast. Je le trouve réussi au niveau esthétique et ergonomique avec notamment des boutons de navigation, 4 boutons d’accès direct à des présélections et la molette multifonction lumineuse, rotative et cliquable. Selon la source audio, l'écran peut afficher le nom de la chaine radio, le titre et la vignette de la chanson ou de l’émission… Pour préserver l'écran, pour économiser de l'électricité ou pour certaines personnes qui ne veulent pas d'un petit écran allumé dans une pièce sombre, j'aurai souhaité une option où l'écran s'éteint complètement au bout d'un certain temps et se réactive quand on appuie sur un bouton. Du coup, la nuit, je rabats l'écran. Mais au réveil, je tâtonne pour trouver le bord de l'écran et le déplier. Donc pour moi, c'est validé. C'est un appareil que j'ai sur ma table de chevet et j'en suis très satisfait.

Una grossa delusione nonostante il marchio blasonato. Estremamente scomoda e macchinosa nell'azionamento tanto che, alla fine, si usano solo le funzioni base tralasciando le infinite altre opzioni. Peccato!
