Excellent customer service
This is an updated review. My original review is below. I originally reviewed as two stars as required fittings were missing. Shortly after leaving the review, the seller reached out and sent a replacement system that I have now installed. The system seems well built and had no leaks. The tubing provided was ample for water feed line, tank line, and faucet line, but was not quite enough to also get to the fridge 10 feet away. I had plenty of extra from prior system installs over the years, so it was a non issue. It isn’t often that sellers work so hard to make things right, and I wanted to update my review to reflect that.Original review:I have installed several R.O. systems over the years in each home I’ve had, parents house, brothers house, friends house, etc. and have had great success with APEC, disappointments with iSpring, but had not purchased a SimPure system before now. This system is missing the 3/8 to 1/4 adapter and drain saddle, so will have to go get those before I can finish the install. I recommend going with APEC instead as I have purchased 3 or 4 of their systems and they always had everything that was needed in the box.

Love it
Since the water in NM is very hard, I decided to buy a osmosis system. I did some research and noticed this SimPure 5 stage osmosis system is almost identical to APEC brand at Lowes, but cost significantly less. I was able to install it. myself with little tools and little experience in plumbing. The video instructions on amazon and youtube were very clear and easy to follow. It Tip: if you don't have another hole on top of your sink, because your dishwasher’s air gap device has taken one hole on your sink, you can convert it to a high drain loop setting. Therefore you can save that hole for osmosis system.Pros: Easy to Clean, Easy to Use, Convenient, Looks Great,

Installation was more diffcult with incorrect instructions and a missing part
Watch out, the product comes with a problem, the drinking water faucet assembly. The instructions tell you to heat up the pet tubing in warm water to slide over the faucet's metal tube. After several tries and some scratched hands I found it did not fit. A called the technical support person who after inspecting his own water purifier suggested that I install a plastic coupler, the coupler enclosed was a 90 degree coupler, so I when to my hardware store a bought a straight coupler. Next after following the instructions carefully and installing all components, I discovered that the RO housing leaked. A bad "O" ring. So what size "O" ring should I buy? NO place in the instructions did I find this info. So I finally order another RO housing from amazon for 15 dollars. I hope this solves the problem. A project that should have taken a few hours, was stretched to several days. Please include the sizes of all "O" rings in the water purifier, each housing, 4 in total require an "O" ring, I noticed that their replacement cartridges do not include an "O" rings, simple fix on there part.

Good value and great water taste & quality
The water supply valve provided wasn’t threaded according to international standards but Home Depot had a solution which made the overall installation much easier. The installation instructions lack important details but the seller quickly responded to questions. The hose markings on the unit overcame the challenge of ensuring the hoses were installed properly as only white (not colored) hose is provided. The instructions do recommend pre-soaking filters and running water through the charcoal filter BEFORE attaching it to the RO membrane. Key point as it will prolong the life of the RO membrane. Water quality was excellent. Overall good value - comparable to other higher priced RO filters I’ve installed.

Works great but not made for America
The product performs better than expected. First tests of the total dissolved solids (TDS) measured 58 ppm, however I did not flush the new filters per the instructions. A recent test demonstrated 12 ppm TDS.The adapters for connection to the water supply did not work with my copper compression fittings at the wall. Attempts to adapt the supplied fittings failed to prevent leaks. Purchase of a 1/2" compression to 3/8" and 1/4" compression valve solved the problem, BrassCraft Model# CR1900RX R1, $15.74 at Home Depot. I spent an additional $40.00 on fittings and wasted an entire evening attempting to make the supplied parts work. The instructions do not adequately describe how to connect to the spigot and backflush the system. What is the additional valve for? What is the bracket and 3 screws for? Not sure water is flowing out the drain, I only heard water flow at the drain when I had removed the tank to re-tape the fitting supplied. The supplied tape is not adequate, I found I needed heavier tape. The installation is more difficult than the example in the U-Tube video and instructions.

Filter not available for this unit
We bought one in March 2020. It was not easy to install. I would say the average person could not install it themself. The 5 stage unit produces acidic water so I put alkaline mineral drops in when I drink a cup. It stopped working in January so we bought the filter set. Installation of the replacement filters was easy till we got to the last filter, the T33. They are not manufacturing this filter any more so weve had the unit apart sitting on the kitchen floor while the rep, Doug, was working very hard to find us a solution to the problem. The Simpure rep is great and has been available to phone calls and working with the supplier to help us. So support gets a 10, product gets a 3. At this point I am ready to buy another brand if I could find one that was easy to install I would.
