Will this work on a z370 sli/ac motherboard?

You need an H670 or Z690 at the moment, z370 is three generations behind, it's also an 1151 socket not 1700

These new chips (12Gen Intel) use socket 1700 I think your HP with that 10th gen CPU uses a socket 1200 so they are not interchangeable.
